  • Comfort & Location

"Location! Location is perfect for snorkeling, beaches, restaurants, walks, seeing monk seals, turtles and great sunsets. My husband especially enjoyed the proximity to three golf courses. We really enjoyed having coffee every AM and seeing the ocean, mountains and looking out at Prince Kuhio Park. We found ourselves more relaxed than we have been in a long time with the condo being very comfortable. Can't wait to go back so we booked again for a month next year."

  • Perfect for our honeymoon!

"An ideal setting, waking up each morning to our ocean view, having our morning coffee and reading the paper out on the lanai. Well stocked unit for cooking and an "activities" closet with bikes, bocce ball, snorkeling gear, tennis rackets, etc. Well located with easy access to Poipu Beach. The screened shutters offered as much fresh air as you desire, as well as ceiling fans. We had a car but walked to the Hyatt and Gillin Beach (love it) and good access to Koloa, Lihue and basically every place on the island. Our owner/host was very gracious and helpful with initial questions we had upon arrival. Plantation staff very helpful. We look forward to coming back!"

  • Kapakai House's gracious warmth matches beauty and grandeur of Kauai!

"This was the perfect home for our family's first vacation on Kauai! From the impressive 'tunnel of trees' to breathtaking Waimea Canyon, the beauty of the island as well as the elegant and spacious interior of the house were both unforgettably imprinted on our hearts. There was so much to see and experience both inside and out! Grandma and Grandpa (70+), son and daughter in law (40+) and two granddaughters (21 and 10) each had varying dreams of a perfect vacation. And we were all able to fulfill our desires: rest and relaxation, shopping at nearby malls and Old Koloa Town, sun-time on the nearby beaches, playing in the surf, exploring and sightseeing, gourmet meals at home or nearby restaurants, sunsets and star watching. The Kapakai House, it's provisions and decor far exceeded our expectations. Even the photos don't adequately capture the beautiful and large Hawaiiana atmosphere it provides for its guests. We especially loved the soft and fragrant breezes that blew through the house every day. We would love to return again! Mahalo and Aloha! Juliana and are the best!"
