  • Delightful vacation in Poipu

"We stayed here for a full week and enjoyed it very much. The unit is on the top floor which means climbing 3 flights of stairs each time, but it really was a benefit with the best views and no one above you and complete privacy. There is a screen on the front door, and leaving the door open along with the windows open on the lanai provide a perfect breeze through the unit to keep the temperature perfect. Watched the sunrise each morning from the lanai and found the condo exactly as described. The kitchen is very nice and updated and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Plenty of room for 4 adults. The master bath has an extra rain shower head which was cool. The TV viewing arrangement in the living room is a little awkward but we managed just fine. We have stayed at Poipu Sands before and LOVE the location. The pool is great, and both pool and BBQs are quiet and always available, unlike the overcrowded resorts. We made use of the boogie boards and beach chairs that Marilyn provides with the unit. Loved the time there, highly recommended."

  • Awesome

"Great location in Poipu. This condo is very well stocked including boogie boards and beach stuff. We walked right down to Shipwrecks beach and gave the boogie boards a spin. Large covered patio with a nice view. If you stay here I'd recommend making a reservation at the nearby Beach House restaurant during the sunset. It's well worth the cost. If you like a little adventure we loved the Koloa zipline which is only a few miles away."

  • OUR FABULOUS GETAWAY 2015

"Terry and I just wanted to take the time to let you know what an amazing time we had on our vacation. Your condo is definitely a super nice and special place to stay. We loved our time there and will always recommend your place to others as well as feel like this is a place like home to us. Thank-you for your hospitality and attention you gave us. We have many memories to cherish and spectacular views. Not only celebrating our 40th anniversary but being cancer free for 3 years."

  • Comfortable Well-Equipped Condo in a Good Location

"We spent 10 nights in this spacious condo with our two children. The grandparents were supposed to come with us so we wanted the extra space. In the end they couldn't come so it was more space than we needed but that is never a bad thing. The place will comfortably sleep 7 since the loft has a king size bed and a twin. It was really nice being able to put the kids to bed and then spend time in the living room at night reading or watching TV. In a hotel room, you don't have another room. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. It had every cooking utensil, pot, and pan you would ever need. We went to Costco and Walmart the first day and stocked up on food for the entire trip. We ate almost all of our breakfasts and dinners at home and made picnic lunches to eat on the beach. Saved a lot of money and was much more convenient with two little ones (4 and 6). There was also a very well-stocked beach closet with sand toys, beach towels, mats, umbrellas, etc. On the balcony there were beach chairs and boogie boards. So the only thing you need to bring are masks and goggles and you are set. The kids also enjoyed swimming at the condo pool, although its pretty small for larger kids. There is a BBQ at the pool that you can use for grilling. We had to open up all the doors and windows in addition to the ceiling fans to cool off, but then generally it was ok. We spent most days away from the condo so we were only there in the mornings and at night, but on the few occasions we came back in the middle of the day, it was warm but tolerable. If we had had air conditioning I would have used it, but we survived without it. The one thing we couldn't have survived without was the washer dryer. With all the beach towels, swimsuits, clothes, PJ's, rash guards, etc for 4 people, we had to do wash every day and I don't see how anyone comes to the island without them. That was the number one thing that was better than a hotel room. Made our stay infinitely better. So you can bring fewer clothes since you can wash them as you go. Strangely, there were lots of parrots flying around in the evening. We were always able to find parking near the condo. We visited about 7 beaches on the island, so we went to a different beach almost every day. Poipu was great, but we wanted to see the entire island. So the closeness of Poipu wasn't that important to us. Great island--we saw new things every day for 10 days and could have seen more. Definitely need a car to see things. Thanks so much!"
