  • Location, Location, Location!

"I rented this condo for a month, with various family members joining me at different times. Everyone loved the short walk through the beautifully landscaped grounds to the ocean. Watching the surf, looking for whales & turtles, walking to Brenneckes beach & Poipu Park with its baby beach, snorkelling, strolling at night beneath moonlight & stars were all memorable activities- and that was just in Poipu. Kauai itself presented many places to drive and activities to keep us busy. Nihi Kai Villas was a convenient location for all. The condo itself was well designed (we loved watching the sunsets from the balcony every evening), with the 2 levels providing a feeling of spaciousness and privacy. The furnishings were ample and the kitchen was well supplied. We felt right at home. Grant was easy to work with, responding to queries quickly and efficiently. I definitely recommend this condo for an excellent experience."

  • Perfect Vacation Condo!

"My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 7-year wedding anniversary. We could not have found a better condo location. The condo was well equipped with towels, Frommers and Fodor's guide books for day trip planning, snorkel gear, and chairs that were perfect for sunset and surfer watching by the Beach House restaurant next door. We appreciated the condo keys being left with the rental car company so we didn't have to make an extra stop at the realty company, as we've had to do with rentals in the past. We enjoyed starting each day with morning coffee on the lanai. We saw monk seals on the beach by the Beach House and sea turtles at the beach by Brennecke's. We enjoyed wonderful restaurants and meals (Beach House, Brennecke's, Grand Hyatt's Tidepools, Living Foods market, Lappert's ice cream, Kauai Island Brewing Company, Olympic Cafe), hikes (Sleeping Giant, Na Pali Coast), and the helicopter tour (we went with Inter-Island for the breathtaking no-door experience). We were happy to stumble upon a farmers market near Princeville (on our way to the St Regis for a cocktail after the Na Pali hike) and loved the fresh coconut that was sliced open for us. We also enjoyed walking to Spouting Horn from the condo, although it was pretty hot and father than we thought :) This location was perfect to access all we wanted to do on the island. I would highly recommend this condo!"

  • Felt like home for our ohana!

"We split our stay recently in Kauai between the South and the North. We loved our stay here! It was warm without AC but we stayed during a time with record highs so that definitely made for warmer days. And to be honest we didn't come to Kauai to spend the afternoon in the Condo. We loved the cushy carpet to relax on and play family games at night, the quiet top of the hill location was wonderful, and we enjoyed coffee on the lanai each morning and watching the sunset from there each night. The mirrored wall made the whole place glow while I was cooking dinner in the evening. Easy parking and a short walk to all the beaches. The welcome basket on arrival was so wonderful to walk into-nice touch! There were sand toys that was perfect for our daughter. It might seem silly but the shower pressure in the master was super strong and was incredibly refreshing after a day of sun block and sand! The downstairs lanai made for a great spot for me to get my yoga sessions in listening to the birds with the distant sounds of the ocean. We have already decided that when we return we hope this place is available! Mahalo!"

  • Great Vacation!

"We had a great vacation in Kauai! It was our first time to Hawaii and we absolutely fell in love! We stayed the first half on the north side of the island at the Hanalei Colony Resort and the second half on the south shore here at Kiahuna condo. The condo is very conveniently located to plenty of shopping and dining, which I appreciate! Mary Lynn was so helpful in us getting situated. She allowed for a late check out since our flight leaving was so late, and was very helpful and responded quickly to all of my questions. I would recommend staying here :). The closet in the living room was full of books and beach toys which was great! There were also a few movies to watch, if wanted. There were plenty of kitchen utensils (except for a pitcher) and the condo was nicely updated. It was nicer on the inside than the Hanalei Colony Resort. The only thing that could have made it better was A/C! But, it's typical for A/C to be absent, so I can't ding them for that. Thanks again!"
