  • Great condo in a perfect location

"We really loved this condo. It was our first trip to Kauai and found the location to be great for travelling the whole island. Two beaches across the street for swimming/snorkeling. We watched the sun rise every morning over the park/ocean from our deck and then the sunset every night from the lawn at the Beach House Restaurant. The pool is really nice too and was not used much while we were there (even over American Thanksgiving) The condo has everything you would need for your stay...just like home. It is very clean, roomy and just plain nice to come home to each evening or hang out in when getting a later start on your day. The little extras were great....beach chairs, laundry basket, small cooler and ice pack for lunches to name a few. It is on the third floor of a no elevator building so for some that would not be appropriate but the stairs were not problem at all for us. We are already planning on returning to Kauai and hopefully to this condo. I would recommend it to anyone."

  • We are glad we chose this property

"We arrived late in the evening but the check-in service was excellent, cheerful and helpful. A security person showed us to our condo. The property was accurately described in the listing and was clean and well-maintained. We appreciated the cleaning service in the middle of our stay and the washer/dryer was invaluable. This property is in an excellent location: we walked to breakfast, the gym, good restaurants, and the beach. We cooked for ourselves too as the kitchen was adequately stocked. The view from our condo showed great sky, but like everyone else, we gathered at the beach for the sunset. We will come again. The condo is a good value and the location outstanding for any activities on the Island."

  • Returning for just a few days and forever grateful.

"We have stayed in this unit previously and have kept in touch with the owners. I am forever grateful to Bob & Linda for allowing us to stay for just a few nights. We travelled back suddenly to attend a Celebration of Life and it was comforting to have a peaceful place to rest. The new tables and dresser in the bedroom are beautiful."

  • a very pleasant stay

"We just spent 5 nights at Ahe Lani. Very pleasant escape from the first rain in San Francisco for months!! We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids (age 6 and 8). Overall we had a great trip to Kauai and enjoyed our stay in Ahe Lani very much. PRO - very spacious house. Big bedrooms and bathrooms. YOu can easily fit 2 more people. - good location. Walking distance (5 mins max with kids) from several beaches and the Kukui'ula shopping village. The village has several restaurant and a very nice but pricey grocery shop. - Spouting horn is 2 miles....pleasant walk if you fancy that. - kitchen is adequately stocked with cooking pot and pans. - beach towel and an array of boogie boards were a welcome surprise - the house is very well maintained. - good and efficient communication with Owner and rental agency. CONS - the house is on the back of a larger, street facing unit, therefore it does feel a bit enclosed. Fundamentally you are surrounded by other properties, though you have a shared green space on the front (as per pics). The access is via a path on the side of the main house. - we found the house a bit lacking natural light, which may have been due to the wintery time of the year we visited. We did enjoy our stay. The cons are merely to paint a full picture not to detract from the property."
