  • Great house and area

"We had a wonderful time in Poipu and shared this home with another family. We didn't have any phone usage or WiFi for the first 3 days of our holiday (there are sometimes outages in Kauai) and I had to contact Oceanic myself to get the WiFi sorted out (and book the technician as well). I had to use my cellphone to do all of this as well. It did eventually get resolved. The house is in good shape and was very roomy for all 8 of us (there are four bedrooms and four bathrooms). About 5 days before our holiday was over; 3 out of the 4 kitchen chair legs lost one of their wheels, making them unusable. We stored them in the garage and they were not repaired while we were in the house, but luckily; we had enough dining chair for our party. Christine was very helpful with giving me the information about Oceanic and our phone problems. The house is located in Poipu; which is a beautiful area; but it does take an hour and 45 minutes to drive to Hanalei (last year we stayed in Kapaa and it East; so everything is quicker to get to). However; we had a lovely holiday and I would definitely use VRBO again!"

  • The perfect getaway!

"Your condo exceeded our expectations. We found it very clean and well stocked. The coolers, ice packs, snorkel gear, sunscreen/aloe, and assorted fridge/pantry essentials all came in very handy. Thank you! Because of jet lag we were up every morning in time to have a beautiful sunrise breakfast on the lanai. What a view from the 4th floor! The bay is just below and we did see turtles swimming several times. Kitchen was great, and we enjoyed cooking all but 1 of our dinners at "home". Walking next door to The Beach House restaurant for drinks, dessert, and sunsets was a breeze. iPod docking station was great and worked well. Used the laundry facilities on the floor two nights with no problems. The Condo's location is excellent! We had easy drive both to the northern shore for a hike along the Na Pali Coast and south to hikes in Waimea Canyon and Koke'e State Park. If we return to Kauai, we will be staying here again!"

  • KIAHUNA...A special place in paradise

"This is a comfortable, well provisioned, place to be "at home"while enjoying natural Kauai at Sunny Poipu or heading out for the North Shore, Hanapepe, Waimea, Port Allen etc. There are so many gorgeous places to experience and so many great people too. We loved our catamaran trip to Napali Coast (our third try we finally got calm seas and sunshine):} Very enjoyable and reasonable for 5 hour trip with whales and dinner. The hosts for this unit have been excellent to deal with and their care of this unit is evident. We had everything we needed to make our own meals from the homegrown foods purchased at Koloa Monday market and The Wednesday afternoon market at Kuikuila Shopping mall or Hanalei Saturday market. This was great value and great food for our bodies! $5 bouquets of exotic Kauai flowers at Koloa market along with fresh tropical fruits and veggies. Yum.we found Big Save in Koloa provided other basics needed and they are very friendly there. The Agriculture Dept at the airport inspects floral arrangements but allowed me to take mine on the plane back to Canada! We miss our little place in heaven and hope to return to this exact spot again and again. Mahalo Tracy and Seth. Your website is great and everything noted there is honest & dependable."

  • Awesome place for our family vacation in February!

"This place was beautiful. It had all the quality Marriott is known for and then some! Especially loved the large 2 bedroom suite which had just been completely renovated. Washer and dryer in the suite was a bonus. Grill areas are serious business...many of the owners cook on the grills in the evening and that is an opportunity to get to know others. Grills are cleaned every morning by the resort staff. Pool area was perfect for our 7 yr old. She made friends every day in the multilevel pool. Snorkel gear and beach were right there for $25 for the whole week. I have distance prescription glasses and the snorkel guys had a mask for that! Staff were friendly, store in the property was reasonable and you could go to the Big Save grocery 10 mins away to stock up for the week. Beautiful Beach and pool - many hot tubs, an adult pool separate if you want. many multi-generation families. Seriously considering becoming an owner!"
