  • More than imagined

"We had a long delay arriving in Kauai but the moment we walked in, it took all that stress away. The sound of the ocean hits you upon opening that door and draws you to the balcony. So amazing. The bed is fabulous and those pillow!!!! We loved that the bedroom was open to see the ocean and hear it as we fell asleep. They have everything there for picnics, beach time, binos for turtle watching. Having coffee each morning watching the surfers and sunrise was truly memorable. We have been back a week and already making plans to go back to this place. Mahola!"

  • Wonderful Home

"My husband and I rented this house for 3 weeks from Nov. into Dec. Our son and his wife and 2 year old visited us for Thanksgiving week during our stay. The house was perfect for us and the garden is extraordinary. The living room is very large and has 2 lounging sections which is nice. You will never feel crowded no matter what size your party is. The kitchen is very easy to work in and the floor plan is quite open. There is a very large master bedroom which we gave over to our son, his wife and baby for their visit. The other 2 bedrooms are very nice, as well. The bathroom situation could be a tad awkward but we worked around that nicely. (The master shares very nice bath and toilet rooms with the twin bedroom. The other bathroom is across the living room.) We found the owner, Lynn to be extremely friendly and responsive whenever we had any questions or issues to discuss. Some of the best features of this home are its exceptional beauty, its secluded location in the cul-de-sac, and the wonderful island style decor. It's a very short walk to the beach and the Hyatt along the greenway, yet it is completely private. We want very much to rent the house next year. It is the best one we've seen and I hate to even mention that because we want it to be available for us, but it really does deserve a 5 star review."

  • Terrific views!

"This is a nice condo with absolutely amazing views of the ocean--we saw whales and sea turtles almost every day and also saw dolphins--all right off our balcony. It is also very close to the Poipu Beach--just a few hundred yards."

  • Best view on the island

"We stayed here for almost a week in May 2011, and highly recommend this condo. Spending the early morning drinking coffee on the lanai, watching the turtles and the surfers, was amazing. The sound of the surf lulled us to sleep each night. Warmer nights got a little close-feeling, even with the ceiling fans and the lanai doors open, but the upside is that when I woke up one night because I was warm, I stepped out on to the lanai where the swirling milky way of stars literally took my breath away. Living in Seattle where the city lights obscure the stars, I'd almost forgotten how beautiful a clear middle-of-the-night sky can be. This condo building was quiet (we saw perhaps 3 or 4 other guests in passing here or there, even though the parking lot was pretty full and so I suppose the building was full of guests) and centrally located to Poipu beaches and shops. The snorkel spot by the Beach House restaurant is within easy walking distance - a bonus! The beds and furniture are comfortable, the fixtures pretty (the photos are true to life), and the view and the constant sound of the surf were truly beyond compare. Even without air conditioning, we will very likely stay here again - it was that enjoyable. Thanks to the owners for a lovely stay!"

Poipu Vacation Rentals to Visit the Spouting Horn

It is well-known that the Hawaiian Islands are volcanic, giving visitors unique and breathtaking landscape to view. Visitors to Poipu vacation rentals find the Spouting Horn a particularly fascinating sight; this phenomenon happens with each wave but for a really stunning sight, visit at sunset. From your Kauai lodging choice, a visit to the National Tropical Botanical Garden is an educational trip. This area was founded to conserve the native flora and now covers almost 2,000 acres, with thousands of species. The Gardens, or rather the five gardens, are close to Poipu beach condos.

Poipu Beach Condos with Golf and Tennis

For those staying at Poipu vacation rentals who want sporting vacations, there are two championship golf courses and a variety of tennis courts around the area. Those seeking adventure in the water will enjoy getting out of their Kauai lodging for scuba diving, snorkeling, surfing or kayaking. The area around Poipu beach condos is filled with hiking trails.

Near your Kauai lodging choice, you'll find day cruises or, for the romantics, an evening couples-only cruise. For the thrill-seekers, an alternative view of the island can be seen from above via a helicopter trip. All this and so much more can be part of your vacation when you stay at Poipu vacation rentals.
