"This condo is very well set up with amazing view of the ocean. It does not have air conditioning, but with the breeze and windows open it really was not needed. The beds were very comfortable, towels and linens clean. Nice to have a cooler and beach chairs to take on day trips around the island. The only thing missing was a sandy beach, which was just around the corner past the Beach House. The bathroom showers are older, but clean. Loved sitting on lanai to see turtles and surfers."

"This was our first time in Kauai so the stay at Nihi Kai place was just perfect. Everything was close by and the beach supplies they had were great when we explored different beaches on the south of the island. The place had everything we need to feel right at home just wish we could live here! I would recommend you stay at this lovely place as the vaulted ceilings, full beautiful kitchen and comfortable beds were awesome. We should have had another couple stay with us as it was very roomy for just 2 people. Looking forward to coming back."

"Poipu Palms is a nice quiet small complex. Every unit has it's own private entrance and an ocean view from each lanai. This unit is good for 2 couples, the 2 bedrooms are private, both beds are comfortable and the 2 bathrooms have everything we needed. The location is ideal. We watched whales breaching right out front, along with schools of dolphins, and sea turtles. The pool is in good shape with updated decking and plenty of lounge chairs. We had several windy days with cooler than normal temps, and the pool on those days was quite cool as well. There is an outdoor grill available to whoever gets there first. Unfortunately it is fueled by charcoal, so the guests must buy their own. Barbecue tools would be a nice addition. Off-street parking is quite adequate. Do not expect that a first-floor unit will be handicap-accessible. There are still a few stairs. The furnishings in the unit are very nice. We met returning renters who come here every year. They love it and we can see why! We we enjoy the proximity to Poipu Beach and the little town of Koloa has everything we need."
