  • Beautiful!

"Thanks to our family, who were the direct renters, we were guests at this home for three days in February and March, and several weeks later we STILL miss it. Perfectly sized for families or small groups, wonderfully situated and beautifully appointed. My only qualm was the lack of air conditioning throughout the house, which we believe would be a smart addition ... but on the other hand, we enjoyed sleeping with the windows open and the feeling of fresh air along with the tranquil environment. Especially for those who don't require a pool for every day use, this is a fantastic little home. We have always preferred to stay at resort hotels, but after our stay here, we are re-evaluating our position, as we followed up three nights here with two nights at a local five-star resort ... and decided that the feeling of comfort and tranquility we had at Hale Pili Aloha just could not be beat!"

  • Look no further, paradise found!

"We simply loved EVERYTHING about this unit! From the lovely decor, well appointed kitchen and top notch beach supplies, there was nothing missing. The owners have put a lot of careful thought into what makes a rental unit useful, and didn't skimp out on quality or quantity. This unit delivered a very enjoyable and comfortable place to rest after a busy day. Oh and the turtles in the bay, you see them every single day from the lanai! And let's not forget the incredible ocean view! What a blessing to enjoy it every single day! This unit gives you great value for the price. Thank you for sharing it!!"

  • Last minute reservation for 3 nights.

"I and my wife, daughter, son-in-law, and infant grandson booked this unit as a last minute addition to the beginning of our stay on Kauai rather than book a hotel room. We decided to come over 3 days early until the arrival of our son and his family. After three days we moved to another house near the Sheraton for the remaining 11 days of our trip. I am not one to give glowing or flowery reviews, but I cannot say enough good about the property and ESPECIALLY the owners. We were contacted about a week or more before our arrival date and informed that there would be construction going on next door and that he was totally unaware that it was going to start. They offered a full refund with no penalties if we wished to cancel. If we did stay, a discount on the cost of our stay would be applied when damage deposit was refunded. We went ahead and stayed and the construction was no problem with us at all. In fact we had more noise at the house we moved to after this rental as it backed up to Poipu Rd. We were wishing we were back at this beautiful and secluded location. Although beach access is not direct and you must walk around to get there, we did not find this a problem. Baby Beach is a great place to take young children. We had an infant with us and if we had too much to carry, we simply drove around. There was never a problem finding a parking place. The property is beautifully decorated and extremely well maintained. My wife and I are from a small and remote commercial fishing town in Alaska of around 1800 population. Besides the beauty of the mountains and the sea, what makes us really love it here are the people. Although I have never met these owners or even talked to them on the phone I feel they are like the citizens of our town. Honest and caring. I just want to say thanks and that we WILL be doing business with you again."

"We’ve stayed many times over the years in various units at PK but 2-9 was the most convenient. So many things made it so: a washer/dryer in the unit was the best thing, huge sand umbrella & cooler were often used, great shower pressure and fully stocked kitchen. PK is described as ‘basic comfort’ in many guide books but it is much more - the pool area (not much shade though) and grounds are beautiful, 3 gas grills and option of covered parking available, quiet guests and access to several beaches within walking distance all add up to superior comfort instead. We’ve never stayed on Kauai during ‘winter’ before and loved it - no humidity and got to see Prince Kuhio actitivies next door at the park as a bonus. Having spent 3 weeks this last trip, we're planning on a month maybe next year. There is always something new to do here but it's always great to revisit old charms and also just lay back. That's a real vacation..."
