  • Beverly Hills meets Kauai

"This home is extraordinary. My wife and I felt as if we had driven into a magnificent Beverly Hills estate with island flair set in a lush tropical paradise. With more than an acre of ocean front privacy, this comfortable, functional estate offers unbelievable ocean views from every room. The fully equipped kitchen is very inviting. I still long for those languid mornings, drinking coffee and watching the deep vibrant colors of the ocean and beautiful grounds come alive. And this might sound odd, but the master bath and the “green” bathroom had the most wonderful showers I have ever had in my life. The koa (Hawaiian hardwood) details and built-in furnishings will blow you away – my wife and I love libraries and the koa-paneled library made us feel as if we had stepped into a magnificent colonial mansion from the 1800’s. This place is wonderful for romantic getaways and family vacations, with excellent separation between the master and guest bedrooms. The house is near Waimea and not far from Hanapepe with its not-to-miss local Friday art walk. We loved the laid back, less touristy feel; and stand by for a true light show as the stars illuminate the inky black sky on this part of the island. Book a week or two or more, you won’t regret it. My wife and I want to go back!"

  • AWESOME house!

"The house is AMAZING and has everything needed for a great time. We barbequed twice and had breakfast and cocktails everyday on the Lanai. The outdoor shower that is adjacent to the entrance into the downstairs bathroom is so convenient it is genius! The view is spectacular, even from the laundry shed which also holds everything for a great time at the beach! We left some beach mats which I hope will add to the collection. The rocks across the street make for a great perch to watch the beautiful sunsets and my uncle quite enjoyed Macarthur beach down the street."

  • Our first vacation rental

"Wow, where do we begin! We booked this cottage because my husband and I brought my parents with us to celebrate their 30 year wedding anniversary. Let me just say that it did not disappoint. Upon stepping into the cottage, we were stunned at how big and wide open it was. It had everything we had hoped for and more! The kitchen was fully equipped, and had a seperate dining and living room that connected to a wide open area which was great. The bedrooms were MUCH bigger than we anticipated, and the master bedroom had a door that connected to the back patio with a very big hot tub that was ready to be used. The whole cottage exceeded all of our expectations. Beds were very cozy and the ceiling fans kept the house in a very comfortable temperature the entire time. The bathroom had plenty of towels and even some beach towels if you needed them. The yard had all kinds of fruit trees, like oranges, limes, and avacodos. It was amazing! The location was southwest of the island which was the dryer side that stayed mainly sunny. It was very close to Port Allen (about 10 miles) where if you booked Napali coast cruise, it was a short drive, and Salt Pond Park where there is a nice beach to just relax at. The town of Waimea is only a few miles away. The ocean was literally right across the street within a footballs field length. My husband and I after our first night, woke up early and walked along the road next to the beach and watched the sunrise. It was very beautiful. We would absolutely without a doubt stay here again when we return to Kauai someday. Our rental property manager Scott was very easy to work with, and was always in touch if we needed anything or had any questions or concerns. Looking forward to returning again one day. Mahalo! • Girls week

"This house is just as described. Very private with gorgeous views of the ocean. Spent hours on the lanai. Came for a girls week but would be great for families as well. Great beaches close by. Best weather on the island on the west side."

Kekaha Travel Tips

Relax in Kekaha Vacation Rentals

Kekaha vacation rentals are a reality for visitors looking for a place to lay their weary heads during their Kauai travel. Kekaha is an area located on the island of Kauai and Kekaha Beach is a popular attraction for visitors to the area. The white sandy beaches stretch for miles and for those who do not wish to sunbathe or frolic in the water, Kekaha is also a popular fishing spot.

Kekaha Vacation Rentals Offer Comfort and Convenience

Kekaha vacation rentals offer the comfort and convenience of a private residence. While Kekaha Beach is a popular spot, it is still a beach that is unspoiled by noisy crowds, so is the perfect complement to beach goers who are on vacation to relax. Kekaha beach rentals sit steps from beach access, with some condominiums and single-family homes offering views of the red tint that the beach water often takes on in Kekaha Beach. Most Kekaha vacation rentals offer kitchens that are fully equipped, furnished living room and dining room areas and private one, two or more bedrooms.

Things to Do In Kekaha

Kekaha offers plenty of amenities inside of your vacation rental, but there are also a variety of activities to enjoy outside of it too. Outdoors sporting activities such as swimming, surfing, body boarding, fishing and paddling are but a few of the water activities visitors of all ages can enjoy. Walks on the beach—especially during the sunrise and sunset—are other popular activities to enjoy the beautiful Hawaiian weather. Families flock to Kekaha for its pristine beaches, tight-knit community and other family-friendly activities. As the fourth largest island in Hawaii, you always have the option to venture out to other parts of the island for kayaking on the Wailua River, visiting other beaches such as Poipu Beach or hiking in Kokee State Park.
