"Our family went to Kekaha Estate to celebrate our 2 adult children's renewal of vows both 10 years. I made the mistake of reading trip advisor it caused me some stress, I called Brian of Aloha Beach Vacations he reassured me that the home was everything we wanted. We arrived and were very pleasantly surprised at the home, the location, all the amenities it has.
We loved it there was plenty of room for everyone that stayed there. We would recommend this home for any occasion, the property manager and the owners were very easily available any time I called with concerns."

"We are currently halfway through a two week stay at Hale Laguna. I had many doubts about staying on the west side of Kauai because it appeared so far from many attractions and premier locations I had heard about. I ultimately chose this home because it's location promised more sunshine and the layout of the home best suited our needs. I now have no regrets about our decision to stay here. It's an easy drive to the North Shore and all of its lush beauty and gorgeous estates and because there is basically one road around the island ,you pass everything along the way. It is a beautiful drive with many rewarding views and treasures to explore. Along with these sights come many more tourists and a lot more traffic although nothing like traffic on the mainland! Returning to Hale Laguna and the magnificent oceanfront just steps away becomes a peaceful relief. Very few if any other people have been on the beaches near the house in huge contrast to some of the other beaches further up the coast. It's private and peaceful here. The road in front of the house can be noisy but its not consistent. We've had very brief showers each day that have lasted 10 minutes or so, then disappear and the sun returns. Temperatures have been very warm and we do appreciate being able to sleep in an air conditioned bedroom. To my surprise I haven't seen even one bug or fly. There are lots of things to do here. So far we have done the helicopter tour, snuba, an ATV trip on Kipu Ranch and luau and boat trip to the fern grotto and have several other things planned. People here are happy! It shows and stress just melts away. This home is comfortable, attractive with thought given to details. You will feel well taken care of when you stay here and you won't want to leave."

"Lovely place to stay, we felt at home from the first second, it’s rural but comfortable and tidy. There is everything you need for a perfect vacation, Sarah (the janitor) is very helpful just in case. The location is ideal, it’s the sunny and quiet side of the island, not crowded, you will feel back in the good old times. Close to Waimea Canyon (hiking), lovely Waimea town (food, restaurants), Salt Pond Beach Park (top!) and the huge Polihale Beach there is everything you need for a perfect stay just within a short ride. But there’s no need to drive to meet your “private” beach, you can hear it from the lanai. Living between the locals, the neighborhood is quiet and the school across the street won’t bother you after school time. We’ll be back next year because it’s such a friendly home in paradise. Recommended for: Nature lovers, quiet vacation, to relax."

"The house was beautiful, the location was awesome, out of the way, and not overly populated. We had a car and went all the way to the end of the road on north the shore, and as far as you could go on the west, and everywhere in-between, absolutely beautiful. There were whales spouting frequently, we even saw some breach the surface. The bed was comfortable, my husband and I stayed in the garden bedroom, and fell asleep to the sound of the ocean every night. The bedrooms are separated enough to ensure privacy, and chose this house because of the private bathrooms each bedroom has. The lanai on the upper level was perfect, had a large table with plenty of seating, a porch swing, and a hammock. There were two other long time couples friends that we vacationed with, no complaints about the comfort of the other beds either. I would highly recommend this house, If you don't like stairs, than don't stay here. I found it great exercise...bedrooms are on the lower level. Patrick was very personable, showed us around the property when we arrived. He would let us know about event happenings in the local area. When we were on our way to the airport, he called to ask how our stay was and if there was anything he needed to improve upon for future visitors. We will be back to visit."
