  • Great condo and great location!

"This condo is exactly what we were looking for for our stay on Maui! The location is very central and it is easy to get anywhere on the island from here: the airport/grocery shopping, Hana Hwy, Mt. Haleakala, Lahaina and beyond, and Kihei. The condo itself was great! Very clean with views of your car on one side and views of the pool and ocean on the other. Bathrooms were large and very clean. All windows may be opened for great breezes through the condo. We stayed 4 nights and only turned on the air conditioning 1 time for 1 hour to cut down some humidity. The owner was great to work with, responded quickly to emails, and his email with instructions sent before the trip was detailed and so helpful! Condo has everything you may need including dishes, linens, beach towels, boogie board, ice packs, cooler, beach umbrellas, and sand toys. Toiletries' that were provided were hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, and dishwasher detergent. There was also sunscreen but that may have been left by a previous renter. The condo complex seemed busy with families and kids were quite loud out by the pool during the day and early evening. However, things definitely seemed quiet by 10pm (except on New Year's Eve, not surprisingly), quiet hours and we never were kept awake at night by noise. The beach the condo complex on is great! You can walk a long way and it's pretty nice and sandy! The nearby village of Ma'alaea was very cute with several restaurants, tourist/gift shops, and a little craft market with locals selling their craft items (pearl, stone, shell jewelry, soaps, and beach wraps and bags). There is also a branch of the Pacific Whale Foundation there where you can book boating excursions. We did the full day snorkeling and whale watching cruise, which was fantastic! We did not join the PWF but we did book online to save a small percentage on tickets. We also drove to Kihei one evening for dinner, which was a fairly quick drive. Pick up all the free brochures at the airport for lots of coupons for excursions, restaurants, and snacks. Also, check out excursion companies online, as they often offer discounts if you book online. We did this with the ziplining company Skyline Eco-Adventures Ka'anapali. Another great experience (note: don't buy the pictures ahead of time if you want them...just buy one set when you have finished your zip-lining)! Thank you Daniel for a great vacay"

  • Doesn't get any better than this!!

"We are just completing 3 weeks in this wonderful paradise. We have traveled to Maui 5 times - stayed in Mort's Port 4 of those times (it was booked on the other occasion) and it is hard to believe but each visit is better than the last. The condo is equipped with every convenience we have at home yet we are able to sit on this beautiful (and functional) lanai in perfect warm weather and gaze out over Maalaea Bay watching the whales play. Mornings are a walk down Sugar Beach (6 miles return trip). We are 10 minutes from Kihei and 20 minutes from Lanai. Booking our return trip today!! Mahalo Mortensens."

"This place is a secret! It is a beautiful centrally located condo on the west side of Maui. Located on a dead end street with other condos, but not near huge resorts. A quite road with low traffic. The view from the lanai offers a look at the marina, Kehei, Lanai and Molokini Crater. This location allows for quick getaways to any insland sight seeing. The trade winds keep the condo & the lanai cool day & night. We did not use the A/C at all. Great pool with excellent Weber gas BBQ's. The grounds and the unit itself are immaculate. The owners, as well as the manager & staff are very welcoming & very helpful! The King size bed is to die for!!!! We've stayed at other locations & looked at other places, but this is our GOTO spot for all of our future excursions to Maui!! We highly recommend this condo! Mahalo!"

  • Amazing vacation!

"Our family loved this condo! We loved the not so busy atmosphere in the Maalaea harbor area! The condo was everything we dreamed it would be! It is very clean, the grounds are kept very neat, and it has everything you need. All the people working there are super friendly! The view from the lanai of the ocean and pool & courtyard are spectacular! (Good place to have your morning coffee!) Beautiful trees & flowers to enjoy! A very central location if you want to go to all the other areas on the island. My teenage kids enjoyed the use of the snorkel gear and the beach lawn chairs & coolers got well used. The binoculars came in handy too! And the "Maui Revealed" book that was at the condo was a wealth of information that we used quite regularly! Walking down to the harbor in the evening was nice to do as well! And having the beach right there in front of you was so spectacular! We can't wait to come back to this condo in future years!"
