  • Beautiful and relaxing.

"We surprised our children with a trip to Maui over their winter break while home from college. When we found this condo open at the last minute, we were a bit leery since it was during the peak season. The surprise was all ours. What a beautiful place!! We could tell the condo had recently been renovated with all new furnishings and amenities. The owner did a wonderful job redecorating and tying the theme together throughout. I'm very particular when it comes to sleeping away from home as you never know how mattresses are going to feel in rentals. I was delighted at how comfortable the beds were and energized each morning when I woke. We truly were in paradise inside and out. The owner was most helpful with booking our trip, especially since it was last minute, providing us with many fun activities to do during our stay. Looking forward to booking our next visit and staying in this beautiful condo."

  • Loved this place!

"If you want a place to unwind and relax this is it. The location of the condo, just steps from the ocean, makes it ideal for spending more time doing what you like. I came with my husband, and our 2 sons, aged 16 and 20. All of us enjoyed it and would love to return. My favorite part was bobbing in the ocean right in front of the condo. It was not uncommon to be out there with just one or two others and sometimes completely alone. So relaxing! It was a very peaceful place to lounge and read. I enjoyed the ease of coming and going without all of us needing to move together as one unit and drive to the beach. The decor of the condo is lovely. The tiled flooring is beautiful, area rugs are of high quality as well as furnishings. Listening to the waves at night in the super comfy king bed, trade winds blowing, made for the best rest. Heck, it made for great naps, too. We did venture out to Lahaina, Kaanapali, Wailea, Kihei. Found good eats, played in the surf, went snorkeling ... yet, being at the condo was like coming home."

  • Perfect quiet getaway

"The condo is perfectly located for everything we wanted out of our trip. It's located on a quiet stretch of water in what seemed to be a very quiet condo complex. If you get tired of the quiet, it's an easy drive north, south or east to any of the more touristy areas. We did all three directions. Easy walk to the harbor and activities there if you so choose. As for the inside, it was also awesome. The master bedroom overlooks the ocean that is just steps away. The pictures don't lie. In fact, this is one of those places that was actually better on the inside that I thought the pictures appeared. Two sliding glass doors lead to the balcony facing the water. We spend a lot of time on that balcony. Check in and check out was easy. Don't let the outside appearance of the complex the condo office is in scare you. The people inside are super nice and you'll head to a different complex after picking up the keys. The owner told me he gets lots of repeat customers. I can see why. We'd definitely stay here again."

  • Great family vacation!

"We had a great time in this beautiful condo. The photos don't lie- it really is that nice. Plenty of room for our 5 adults. Immaculate, and had everything we needed, and more. John met us at check in and explained everything so we weren't searching for things. Pool and beach area convenient. Location is wonderful, and quick to everything. Nearby restaurants made it easy when we got home from a day of driving and seeing the sites. We even carved out an evening of pizza and wine on the lanai while the kids went out for sushi- beautiful. Stay here if you can. Pricey but worth it !"

Maalaea Travel Tips

Enjoy Maalaea Vacation Rentals in Central Maui

Maalaea is a district located in Central Maui, which is six miles from Wailuku. You'll find Ma'alaea where Honoapi'ilani Highway, also known as Highway 30, meets the south coast. This prime location makes it a favorite hot spot for tourists. Tourists looking to emerge themselves in the culture and society of Maui often choose one of the Maalaea vacation rentals available on the island--allowing them the comforts of home surrounded by the locals.

The Comfort of Maalaea Vacation Rentals

Maalaea vacation rentals range from Central Maui beach rentals to Maalaea condos, so there is an accommodation to fit almost any need and taste in the area. Central Maui beach rentals offer guests direct access to the beach, sun, water activities and more. Most of the Central Maui beach rentals are Maalaea condos, with some running along Maalaea Bay. Other rental options include single-family homes, which offer you the chance to mingle with the locals and still find private respite in your home when the mingling is over.

Ma'alaea Beach Fun

One of the primary attractions for visitors is Ma'alaea Beach. Ma'alaea Beach is three miles long, stretching from Ma'alaea Harbor to Sugar Beach on the east. Visitors to the beach do not tend to flock Ma'alaea Beach for relaxing in the sand and sun. On the contrary, Ma'alaea Beach is known for high winds, which makes it a prime location for surfing the big waves and windsurfing. When you come in out of the sun (and the wind), you can enjoy a meal you've made in your full-equipped Maalaea vacation rental or take a nap in one of the private bedrooms. For nights when cooking isn't on the agenda, restaurants, cafes and shops are readily available. Buzz's Wharf Restaurant is a local favorite along with The Blue Marlin and Bamboo Bistro.
