  • Fabulous Condo in a beautiful area

"We stayed in Lauloa 309 in Maalaea for five nights in mid June. The condo was exceptional. It was very clean, very nice and updated, and had everything we could possibly need. The view from the lanai is spectacular. We didn't see any whales because of the time of year, but we watched a lot surfers. Check-in and check-out were completely painless. We just found the unit and entered the door code we had been sent when we reserved it. Checkout was equally easy. The only downside to the unit was that the air conditioner was loud and it was pretty hot the week we were there so we did need to run it at night. It wasn't something you couldn't sleep through, but if you're a light sleeper it might bother you. I think we were just there at a particularly hot time, though. (And the beds were really comfortable so I'm sure that helped!) The immediate area doesn't have much in the way of restaurants. There is the General Store and a couple of small places near the marina. Most nights we went into Kihei to eat, which is about 15(ish) minutes away. The other thing that might be an issue for some people is the beach, which is a 5-minute walk down the road to the left, is pretty rocky under the water and you don't always see them. We had to go buy bandaids after swimming there because everyone ended up getting slammed into them at some point. Maybe we just needed to find a different spot. The water was also particularly rough while we were there (a south swell that lasted longer than usual), so maybe that had something to do with it as well. But overall, we loved the place. The location was great for seeing the rest of the island. We also did the Four Winds Molokini snorkeling trip, which was awesome!"

  • Stunning Views

"This condo is exactly as pictured. Well cared for, remodeled kitchen and bathrooms, and conveniently located. My family had a great time. We loved sleeping and waking up to the soothing sounds of the ocean crashing into the shoreline. When we arrived to the condo, the manager Carl greeted us and welcomed us to Maui. The two local restaurants he recommended were great. Every morning, we would drink our coffee and watch the whales from the deck (thank you for providing the binnacles). Thank you, Keith and Corrine for sharing your beautiful home."

  • First time in Maui and for sure will be returning soon

"I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking to save money and yet be located in the center of Maui (between Wailea and Lahaina) the condo was clean very well kept and put together. The owner did a wonderful job by keeping everything handy, loved the beach surf boards and snorkeling equipment, cooler and beach towels. Everything u need for ur stay is there."

  • Oceanside in Paradise

"Our recent vacation was our 7th to Maui, and second stay in Maalaea. We were very fortunate to be able to stay in Mary and Larry's condo for the month of March. The owners were excellent to deal with, and the cost was reasonable. The condo was very comfortable, clean, well equipped, and we really enjoyed the lanai. We find the location excellent and so quiet - great for walking and Haycraft Park is so close as the start to 2.5 miles of sandy beach! This location is central and a good starting point for visiting other parts of Maui. We had a car, but met some folks staying in the next condo building for 3 months that used the Maui Bus to get around from the nearby transit hub at the harbour. They were quite happy with the 55 and over pass of $25 per month! Not having air conditioning was not a problem at all in the condo. Getting some cool air movement in the evening was never an issue; and, given the extremely high cost of electrical energy on Maui, and that 70% of that energy is produced by burning imported oil, no AC is the environmentally responsible way to go! Maalaea is a windy location, but the condo lanai was always out of the wind, and one could get out of the wind down by the ocean in front of the condo. The wind is a blessing in terms of keeping the air a bit cooler, and not an issue as far as we were concerned. We are a retired couple (early 60's) and hope to be able to stay again soon!"
