  • Perfect quiet getaway

"The condo is perfectly located for everything we wanted out of our trip. It's located on a quiet stretch of water in what seemed to be a very quiet condo complex. If you get tired of the quiet, it's an easy drive north, south or east to any of the more touristy areas. We did all three directions. Easy walk to the harbor and activities there if you so choose. As for the inside, it was also awesome. The master bedroom overlooks the ocean that is just steps away. The pictures don't lie. In fact, this is one of those places that was actually better on the inside that I thought the pictures appeared. Two sliding glass doors lead to the balcony facing the water. We spend a lot of time on that balcony. Check in and check out was easy. Don't let the outside appearance of the complex the condo office is in scare you. The people inside are super nice and you'll head to a different complex after picking up the keys. The owner told me he gets lots of repeat customers. I can see why. We'd definitely stay here again."

  • Will Definitely Return!

"This was our first time to Maui and renting this condo, and neither disappointed! The convenience of the centrally-located condo was fantastic. The condo grounds were great and quiet. The condo itself had everything we needed. We will definitely rent this condo again and we highly recommend it to our friends and family."

  • Fantastic stay in a Perfect Location!

"First off, Amy is a delight to work with. She was very accommodating, quick to respond, professional and friendly. It was a real pleasure dealing with her! She even checked in on us to make sure everything we needed was there. The condo itself is extremely clean, tasteful, well appointed and had everything (yes EVERYTHING) we needed. It was quiet, secure and peaceful as can be. If your aim is to see as much of the island as possible, the location can't be beat. Sunrise at Haleakala? No Problem! Afternoon in Lahaina afterwards? No problem... you have to go right by the condo anyways. Road to Hana? No problem, you can even pack your lunch and utilize the coolers & icepaks so thoughtfully provided. Big Beach? Sugar Beach? Kihei? Wailea? Kaanapali? Iao Valley? No problem... they're all a reasonable distance away. This place is the hub at the center of all the spokes. This was our first trip to Maui and we had no problems getting around after learning the major routes and general directions. After that, the location being perfect was crystal clear. Folks, this is the place to stay. While we spent most of our time away from the condo, it was extremely comfortable and everything we needed was there when we needed it. As a major bonus for us, it's very tasteful and not at all "Cheesy 70's Hawaii". Thank you Amy! It was fantastic, and I'd recommend it to anyone!"

  • Fabulous Location!

"Wow! That was our first reaction when we stepped inside and it only got better from there. The condo was perfectly located 30 min from the tourist mecca of Lahina and 15 min from the necesseties: Costco, Kmart and cheap gas! The condo itself was wonderful and well appointed. There were even things like spices and olive oil for cooking which really was a nice touch. Thank heavens for the AC. We were there during the tradewind's vacation and it was hot and breezeless. The AC saved us during the day and made sleeping easy at night. I'm really glad my mom insisted on it. We would go back again in a heartbeat. Be sure to check out the Maui Ocean Center 2 min down the road. It was an unexpected surprise on our last day- don't miss it!"

Maalaea Travel Tips

Enjoy Maalaea Vacation Rentals in Central Maui

Maalaea is a district located in Central Maui, which is six miles from Wailuku. You'll find Ma'alaea where Honoapi'ilani Highway, also known as Highway 30, meets the south coast. This prime location makes it a favorite hot spot for tourists. Tourists looking to emerge themselves in the culture and society of Maui often choose one of the Maalaea vacation rentals available on the island--allowing them the comforts of home surrounded by the locals.

The Comfort of Maalaea Vacation Rentals

Maalaea vacation rentals range from Central Maui beach rentals to Maalaea condos, so there is an accommodation to fit almost any need and taste in the area. Central Maui beach rentals offer guests direct access to the beach, sun, water activities and more. Most of the Central Maui beach rentals are Maalaea condos, with some running along Maalaea Bay. Other rental options include single-family homes, which offer you the chance to mingle with the locals and still find private respite in your home when the mingling is over.

Ma'alaea Beach Fun

One of the primary attractions for visitors is Ma'alaea Beach. Ma'alaea Beach is three miles long, stretching from Ma'alaea Harbor to Sugar Beach on the east. Visitors to the beach do not tend to flock Ma'alaea Beach for relaxing in the sand and sun. On the contrary, Ma'alaea Beach is known for high winds, which makes it a prime location for surfing the big waves and windsurfing. When you come in out of the sun (and the wind), you can enjoy a meal you've made in your full-equipped Maalaea vacation rental or take a nap in one of the private bedrooms. For nights when cooking isn't on the agenda, restaurants, cafes and shops are readily available. Buzz's Wharf Restaurant is a local favorite along with The Blue Marlin and Bamboo Bistro.
