  • Good location and great price!

"This two bedroom condo is right on the water as described. It is centrally located in Maui so getting around is fairly easy. Costco and Walmart are a mere 15-20 minutes away which is good for grabbing all the necessities during your stay. The aquarium is literally next door and is a great place to visit. The Pacific Whale Foundation is also a mere 5 or so minute walk right on the harbor and can take you to some great snorkeling sites. We did a guided tour to Hana and the bus picked us up right out front. They also have a bus line that will bring to to various places on the island and it runs every hour and only costs a couple dollars. There is a small pool on the property which was pretty much unused so it was nice having it all to yourself to sunbathe, etc. They also have a couple grills if you are the grilling type. The view from the balcony was amazing and as pictured. There were also boogie boards if you wanted to catch a wave or two in the ocean. It was nice having breakfast outside each day and looking out at the harbor. I saw a turtle swimming by almost every day and even a dolphin one day. As far as the condo itself, it was maybe a tad outdated with an older dishwasher and microwave (the 5 button did not work) but overall it had everything you needed to cook and do whatever. The outside screen door made it a little hard to see the number on the main door and also a screw was missing and it was hard to turn the handle to open the screen door but it really wasn't a big deal once we got settled in. It was nice having a printer and wifi to book activities and print out confirmation emails. There is a small air conditioning unit that manages to cool the apartment for the most part and there are tons of fans to further help cool the condo. I would say, however, that the back room further from the air conditioning unit doesn't get as cool and could be a problem for someone who likes it pretty cold. The beds were comfortable, aside from the pillows because I'm spoiled and prefer feather pillows. Other than that, Barbara promptly answers all questions and is very helpful in making sure you have everything that you need. I would recommend this condo if you prefer taking it easy and pretending like its your home away from home and if you are someone who likes peace and quiet. If you are more of someone who prefers upscale accommodations with access to fancy pools and room service then this is not the place for you. Overall we enjoyed it!"

  • This is THE place to stay on Maui!

"My husband and I agree that this is surely one of the best designed condos we've seen. Add to that the absolutely stunning view which reaches from Makena Beach all the way around to the lighthouse, on the other side of the vast Maalaea Bay. Since it's an end unit on the top floor, the master has side windows which expand the view (and cross breezes) significantly. The decor is beautifully tropical in feeling, without being Hawaiian Kitche. There are a number of lovely sculpted pieces...metal, wood, pottery, ceramic and glass, as well as strategically placed mirrors that definitely bring the "outside in". But WHAT an outside!!! The ocean RIGHT THERE! I've never seen a condo built so close to the Ocean. I marvel at the amount of Oceanographic and Geographic research the architects must have done prior to building. And perhaps the most exceptional part is that even with the openness, the amount of total privacy is astonishing. With a top floor unit in only a 4 story can see the palm trees swaying (take THAT you Kaanapali multi-stories!), and the few units to the other side sit further back from the beach and have almost no windows facing this direction. The condo, which was built, I believe, in the 80's has been totally updated with brand new stove/oven, microwave, french door refrigerator with icemaker, and a high-efficiency washer & dryer. Cable TV n both the LR & MBR. Everything you need is here, including a complete revolving spice rack. You can walk the beach almost to Makena,..or at least to Kihei (depending upon your level of fitness)! There is an elevator that you can use to bring up luggage & even for us mid-'70's folks, the unit is easily accessible. There are boogie boards & fins in the closet, easy access to several restaurants in the area...and even the drive into Kahului or Kihei is only 10 minutes or so. My husband and I lived on Oahu for almost 20 years, and have been to Maui many times, but this is our first stay in this area. For us, this is the PLACE!"

"We had another fabulous vacation at the condo, our sixth in six years! The condo has everything we need for a great vacation so packing is easy. And the location is very central to everything we want to do, half-way between Kihei and Lahaina. Thank you for offering such a great place. Be sure to walk the beach at the end of the street when you turn right walking out of the condo parking lot."

  • Thank you

"I brought my wife to stay at your condo at the end of the summer, and boy were we impressed. Everything in the condo, from the furniture to the bed was in excellent shape. We go on vacation often to condos often that are gross, miss sold, and almost in a state of decay. Not here. A super clean rental that had everything we needed. You can't beat having the ocean so close, and I think we BBQ'd almost every night. I just wish we could have stayed another week."
