  • Perfect spot for the sports lover

"Really nice beach house. Laid back feel and a great place to relax. We were a group of cyclists and windsurfers so it suited us fine. Windsurfing right out the front meant never having to load gear in and out of a car. And Spreckelsville is a great location to start many of the nice bike rides around Maui. The house is located very close to the airport so does suffer from noise. We never let it bother us as most of the day we weren't there or were too tired to care. But the occasional overnight flight will almost certainly wake you. For us the location outweighed the inconvenience of the noise. Aside from the air traffic noise, the house is located is a very peaceful, quiet neighbourhood. A car is necessary staying here as there are no shops nearby. Plenty of nice restaurants 4km down the road in Paia. And a nearby bike path offers a short ride into Kahului. Overall, a great place to relax, enjoy the beach and everything else north shore Maui has to offer. I'd definitely stay here again."

  • first time traveler to Maui

"Very nice condo, great location, central to all we wanted to do. The beach is just a short distance and one of the best for walking. Saw several turtles. The condo was very nicely furnished, clean, and the bed was comfortable. Beautiful view from the lanai. So handy to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Well stocked unit. would rec. and book again. Our deposit was promptly returned within a few days!"

  • Best Vacation ever.

"This property is perfectly located, just a short drive to Lahaina, Kahului, or Kehei for all the shopping, sight seeing, or the beautiful beaches that litter the west side of the island. Although the 5 mile stretch of beach that begins right out in front of the condo complex was perfect for boogie boarding, snorkeling, etc., or just relaxing. Or take a short walk to the harbour where there are many shops and restaurants. The condo was clean and came with everything that we needed to make it our home away from home, with a gorgeous view overlooking the pool area and ocean. The complex is very quiet and laid back, and the way it is designed is perfect for sheltering the pool and common area from the trade winds, which we found to be rather soothing. The owners, property manager, maintenance people, and regular or permanent residents were all very friendly, and so helpful. We would highly recommend this property."

  • Good location and great price!

"This two bedroom condo is right on the water as described. It is centrally located in Maui so getting around is fairly easy. Costco and Walmart are a mere 15-20 minutes away which is good for grabbing all the necessities during your stay. The aquarium is literally next door and is a great place to visit. The Pacific Whale Foundation is also a mere 5 or so minute walk right on the harbor and can take you to some great snorkeling sites. We did a guided tour to Hana and the bus picked us up right out front. They also have a bus line that will bring to to various places on the island and it runs every hour and only costs a couple dollars. There is a small pool on the property which was pretty much unused so it was nice having it all to yourself to sunbathe, etc. They also have a couple grills if you are the grilling type. The view from the balcony was amazing and as pictured. There were also boogie boards if you wanted to catch a wave or two in the ocean. It was nice having breakfast outside each day and looking out at the harbor. I saw a turtle swimming by almost every day and even a dolphin one day. As far as the condo itself, it was maybe a tad outdated with an older dishwasher and microwave (the 5 button did not work) but overall it had everything you needed to cook and do whatever. The outside screen door made it a little hard to see the number on the main door and also a screw was missing and it was hard to turn the handle to open the screen door but it really wasn't a big deal once we got settled in. It was nice having a printer and wifi to book activities and print out confirmation emails. There is a small air conditioning unit that manages to cool the apartment for the most part and there are tons of fans to further help cool the condo. I would say, however, that the back room further from the air conditioning unit doesn't get as cool and could be a problem for someone who likes it pretty cold. The beds were comfortable, aside from the pillows because I'm spoiled and prefer feather pillows. Other than that, Barbara promptly answers all questions and is very helpful in making sure you have everything that you need. I would recommend this condo if you prefer taking it easy and pretending like its your home away from home and if you are someone who likes peace and quiet. If you are more of someone who prefers upscale accommodations with access to fancy pools and room service then this is not the place for you. Overall we enjoyed it!"
