  • A memorable 2 week stay at the Maui Island Hideaway

"You cannot go wrong with the Maui Island Hideaway. Because the "Hideaway" is so close to the water we could hear the sounds of the water literally 24/7. Our day began with a wonderful walk on the beach and back to the lanai to have our morning coffee. Many mornings we saw the whales dancing, along with a group of turtles peaking their heads out of the water. The breeze coming through the condo was wonderful and it made sleeping so comfortable. This condo is well taken care of and nicely decorated. The location of the "Hideaway" is very central to the west and south side of the Island which for us was perfect. We had a wonderful 2 weeks at the Maui Island Hideaway and we will be back."

  • Simply Paradise!

"We have visited Maui several times, but never stayed in Ma'alaea. Our month long stay at Sandy's condo was simply the best. We really enjoyed our daily walks on Sugar Beach, the lanai and it's beautiful ocean view, and the pounding of the waves against the shore at night just rocks you to sleep! I drank my coffee on the lanai and watched the sun rise over Haleakala every morning (what a beautiful sight and great pictures!). The condo had everything one needs to have a really enjoyable and restful stay. From my very first contact to our arriving at the condo, Sandy was most helpful and took extra strides to make certain our stay was the best. On our previous stays we stayed in west Maui, but Ma'alaea is much more convenient to getting to the other parts of the island and the sights (Hana Road & Oheo Gulch, Halekala, La Perousse Bay). The price is a great value and allows you to stay longer and enjoy more of the island. My wife and I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone who wants to see all of Maui......... Simply Paradise!"

  • Perfect location for a great condo experience on Maui

"My wife recently stayed here and must say it was the perfect setting for our vacation. The condo is extremely well stocked with everything you may need including beach gear. The unit is right on the beach with a pool between you and Maalaea Bay with a nice grassy spot for lounge chairs for relaxing in the sun. The location is perfectly suited for exploring the island as it sits right between South Maui, West Maui, and East Maui. This makes driving to different locations much more efficient that if you stayed in South or West Maui as most people do. Additionally, the location usually has a breeze throughout the day which makes the days and evenings very comfortable. It's an easy walk to Maalaea Harbor where there is a great general store, a few restaurants and all the boating options you may desire from snorkeling, diving, whale watching, sunset cruises, fishing etc. Checking in and out was a breeze and the management staff extremely courteous. I would highly recommend this condo for your Maui experience."

  • This Place is AWESOME!!

"We stayed in 512 from 4/24-5/1/15. WOW, what an awesome unit. The owners have surely paid attention to detail in this one. This unit is a 2 bedroom and 2 full bath end unit with plenty of space and nicely decorated. The guest bedroom has 2 comfortable beds with an attached bathroom, with a cute walk in shower and plenty of closet space. The master bedroom is off of the living room with a view to die for. The view was simply stunning to wake up to every morning. The master bed (king size) was extremely comfortable with plenty of pillows and fresh linen. The living room had just enough seating with a nice cozy couch and two comfortable chairs. Both the living room and master bedroom has good size flat screen TV’s and the unit has free Wi-Fi. This unit has a washer and dryer that worked perfectly for us. The kitchen – oh my goodness. It is WELL stocked. The owners have really out done themselves here. The refrigerator is amazing – a subzero, just wow! There is so much stuff in the kitchen – everything you need from plastic storage bowls to small carry with you water cooler. They have stocked this unit with enough washing powders and dish soap get you through your stay - did I mention there was aluminum foil for your use. Some have reported ants in this unit but we did not have a problem with them and even if you did, the owners have left a can of ant spray under the counter to tackle that problem. They covered everything. There is 4 beach chairs AND beach umbrella to use, plenty of beach and pool toys and a cooler to use – a cooler!! How awesome is that! We didn’t use the pool area much, but I believe it is heated enough to knock off the chill – which for us was refreshing. There are two attached lanai’s for this unit. One off the bedroom with a table and 2 chairs and the other off the living room with a nice size table and four chairs – extending the living space outside. We enjoyed eating our breakfast out there every morning. This unit does have AC in the living room. It is a window unit. It worked just fine for us. It never got hot in the unit. There were several days and most nights we didn’t turn on the AC at all because the trade winds were so strong. We opened the windows in the back and the ones in the front and allowed the trade winds to blow straight through which cooled it nicely. I cannot say enough I am thankful to the owners for sharing their home with us. Staying here made our vacation special. I will stay here again."
