  • Plantation Bungalows

"We had a wonderful stay at Plantation Bungalows. There were nine of us (6 adults, 3 children) in the main cottage and studio and were very comfortable. The nearby beaches gave us great access to the warm Hawaii surf especially with the use of the equipment supplied by our hosts. We hope to be take advantage of the accommodation again in the near future and highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing visit to Maui."

  • excellent accomodations and location

"Perfect location for a quiet hideaway, especially liked the wake up call by the local roosters which seemed to be everywhere. The king size bed was comfortable and all things necessary for cooking was supplied. A short walk would take you to a shopping plaza where you could pick up anything you needed or restaurants with great foods of which there was quite a few. A few steps to the beach with chairs and umbrella, all supplied for some tanning or turtle watching if you needed some rest from your adventures. We will definitely come back to this cozy cottage on our next trip to Maui. John & Carolyn"

  • Great indoor and outdoor space!

"Very local Kihei feel! Really nice, clean, comfortable 3 bedroom house in local neighborhood. Upstairs master has wonderful outdoor lanai facing mountain and great for morning coffee. Kitchen (nicely equipped), dining and living room all open. Rear has two bedrooms opening on to large covered rear lanai and secluded, quiet, very green, tree covered back yard (shared with 2 other rentals on same property but always quiet). Only minor down side was not super close walkable to a sandy beach. Friendly, responsive property manager even replaced the microwave that conked out within a day-ish of us reporting it."

  • House and Location Were a Hit!

"We rented the Sunset Beach House recently for a special family reunion. During our farewell dinner there, we asked our grandchildren what they liked about the house. The beach. The waves. The lawn. The sunsets. The jungle pool. The hammock. The geckos. Repeat. As you can see, the house and location were a hit! Both were everything we had hoped for and more. The house was well stocked and clean. The homeowners were very hospitable and even had arranged for a box of chocolate covered macadamia nuts to be placed on the kitchen counter to welcome us. Kihei is a great location and one of the driest spots on Maui. From the house, we could walk to the market for food or to shops for coffee or ice cream. We drove to other towns, beaches and parks for excursions, all within 30 minutes. It took only a few days to fall into Island Mode. With everything we needed at the Sunset Beach House, we noticed that our outings got shorter and our playtime at home got longer. An excursion by then was just to get coffee or ice cream. Maui magic had worked its spell at the Sunset Beach House for sure!"
