"First Time in Maui,
the house was awesome! absolutely perfect! We stayed for 9 days and had a great time. spent a lot of time when we were home in the back yard sitting on the grass. house had everything we needed.Every night we would walk 2 blocks to the beach and watch the sunset! when we were home we would open all the windows and feel the breeze come thru the house! Thanks for the use of the snorkel equipment we went down to Ulua beach a few times and swam with the turtles and fish!! there were 4 of us in the house plenty of room. we are definitely going back! Much nicer than staying in a hotel, it felt very homey! Thanks Marilyn!! your house is awesome!!!"

"We Loved It!!! Quaint cottage with themed bedrooms: Hula Girl Room, Pineapple Room, & Surfboard Room. Centrally located with shopping and restaurants nearby. Kihei Kalama Village (marketplace) was just a short drive away. Beach within walking distance. Stocked with everything you need and then some! Our family enjoyed our stay at the Hale Mahalo and have already shared this special location with friends and family. Will be visiting again! Thank you Joy & Don for a wonderful stay."

"Once again we enjoyed being in Maui and staying at the Pineapple Suite and waking up to the sound of the doves cooing. The studio is centrally located, with easy access to the beaches, shops, and restaurants. Thank you, Megan, for organizing everything."

"We really enjoyed staying in your house during our week's vacation in Maui. We were five adults and a three year old and the house was very comfortable and spacious enough. Like other guests, we also had some very warm days and the house got pretty warm in mid-afternoon. But the house cools off nicely at night with the windows open and the ceiling fans going.
We loved the great big back yard shaded by the trees and adorned by plumerias with the lawn running out to the beach. We chose this house because of the direct access to the beach which was great. The only thing that beats taking a fresh cup of coffee out in the morning to watch the waves as the sun is coming up behind you is taking a cold beer out in the late afternoon for a private seat for those famous Maui sunsets. This beach is beautiful but not really swimmer friendly and the rocks make it almost mandatory to have some reef socks or wading shoes to enjoy the water.
You seem to have thought of everything from the well equipped kitchen to the Genesis gas grill and patio dining area and we really made good use of those beach chairs and umbrellas. We would definitely return for another stay."
