"We arrived on Maui in the evening but had no trouble finding the home with the fantastic directions given to us from Hope Marie. Upon our arrival, there were no issues getting into the home, and once we did, what a pleasant surprise. The house is beautiful, clean, well maintained and was plenty of room for our group.
The ocean is just a quick walk away, one block in fact, if you like to get up early and go for a run or a stroll, this is the perfect location for you.
The house is within walking distance to shops, restaurants, markets, rentals, really everything you might need!
As said in a previous review, the home does not have air conditioning, but there are plenty of fans in the home that we ran to keep the air moving and they were more than sufficient for sleeping comfortably at night.
We can't wait to return to Maui and would most definitely return to this home!"

"Thank you so much for accommodating us with such short notice. I know your management company had to juggle the cleaners to get us in. (We are the ones that rented at a different complex down the road and had to leave because of all the bugs). We had such a wonderful time. Your unit was clean well furnished. My mother and I couldn't have asked for a nicer place. We didn't rent a car so it was nice having the beach and stores within walking distance. My mother was happy to spend her whole week by the pool drinking and tanning. I rented a scooter from the shop at the little mall and drove all over the place. I was a nice get away. I found that beach you were talking about enjoyed sitting under the trees and watching the whales jumping. I also saw a wedding taking place, so lovely. Got a free hula show. Thanks again Jennifer, I will be sure to pass your condo onto all my friends and family."

"We just recently returned from Hawaii, having spent 9 nights in Julie's wonderful condo. I have done a lot of research and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Especially after driving by a lot of the places I researched I was really happy with our choice. The location is absolutely great, it's close to the beach, yet located on a small side street unlike many other properties along the main road. It is called Kihei Garden Estate for good reasons - the grounds are beautifully kept and it's simply a joy to sit on the spacious lanai and enjoy the gorgeous view.
Upon arrival we found everything like in the pictures. The condo is clean, perfectly stocked and very tastefully furnished and decorated. We loved it! We had a great sleep in the comfortable beds and with the nice cross breeze at night. Waking up to sunrise over Haleakala (great morning view from lanai) was simply stunning.
Our kid felt right at home and she loved exploring the grounds and swimming in the nice pool.
We enjoyed our home away from home so much, we really hope to return one day.
Julie was wonderful and very easy to work with.
Thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful condo.
It was a dream vacation for us!"

"We stayed here for our 1st visit to Maui this July, in the Plumeria bldg. The condo was exactly as described. It is one of 12 in this building that fully face the ocean. It should be noted that every unit on this property faces towards the ocean, but most are at an angle. We traveled w/ our 2 daughters, ages 17 & 18. They stayed in the front bedroom which has an adjoining bathroom w/tub/shower & separate sink area. My husband & I took the master bedroom which also had an adjoining bathroom w/shower & separate sink area. The master bedroom has a private balcony on the corner of the unit with a view of not only the ocean, but also the volcano, Haleakala. The kitchen, dining, & living areas were also spacious. We entertained family who was in another unit & sat 8 of us comfortably in the living room. There is a larger balcony off the living room with a spectacular view of the ocean. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything one needs to whip up a meal. The dishwasher was also a welcome relief! There were 2 TVs; 1 in the master & 1 in the living room. There were plenty of towels & extra sheets, pillows, etc. There were even beach chairs, snorkel gear, etc. available. The property also has a pool & hot tub, plus a kiddie pool. It's a quiet area with plenty of room & beautiful surroundings. There are several bbqs next to the pool area. We were not impressed with the property's sauna & decided to skip it. A laundry room is located on about every other floor. The beach is a short stroll through the back grounds of the property. While it's a bit rockier than other beaches, it is a swimmable area. There isn't a whole lot of sitting room, but it makes for a lovely stroll at sunset. Overall, this was an incredibly rewarding experience! We would highly recommend this property and this particular unit. Each unit is different, so be sure to read as much as you can before you decide on 1. You'll also want to rent a car so you can explore the town & the rest of the island. We will definitely be back!"
