"I spent a week with my family (6 adults and a 6 month old baby) at this lovely condo. It was spacious, very comfortable and suited all of our needs beautifully. The kitchen was well equipped/supplied, and they had a closet with coolers, boogie boards, games, etc. The view was amazing; the grounds were impeccable; the pool was clean, and there was a very knowledgeable concierge on-site. I especially liked the location because it was on the edge of all the "busyness" of Kihei and therefore, very quiet. It was a great place to spend a vacation!"

"This is our 7th trip to this property and this condo is one of the best we have stayed in, the location is perfect , facing the ocean with a large balcony. The view is just spectacular and the sunsets off the balcony were breathtaking. The condo was very clean and has a well equipped kitchen and very comfortable bed in the master. The location is very central to many things to do or just to spend a very relaxing day by the very large pool with beautiful manicured grounds.
We were there for our 25th anniversary and can't wait to return."

"Thank you for sharing your condo. It was a great location for our family of 3 to explore the Island. We went on day trips to South Maui beaches, West Coast, the volcano, and whale watching from this spot everyday. Drug stores and grocery stores are close by and we signed up for membership cards to get discount prices with the cashier. Great restaurants nearby for eat in or take-out. The condo has a fully stocked kitchen, beach & snorkel gear, and in-suite laundry. There was always room for us at the pool and BBQ areas too. The other guests were friendly and the building was quiet after hours until the roosters down the street woke us up each day. Believe it or not, we're going to miss those roosters!
We would give the condo 4.5 stars. The only negative experience we had was the security guard who yelled at us for hanging our beach towel on the lanai and the king bed mattress was not comfortable but we're used to a firm mattress at home.
We would love to come back again. Mahalo!"

"We were spot on when we chose Maui Sunset and, specifically, Jackie's and Roy's place. From the moment we walked in we felt at home. The views were great and the breezes were wonderful. Evenings at the barbecue were a fun social time for us and all the others sharing the space. The barbecues were in constant use from about 5:30 - 8:00 each evening and we met some very nice people there. They were all kept in tiptop condition.
The condo was very well equipped and updated. We used the chairs, boogie boards and towels that were provided to make our daily visits to the beach so enjoyable. The beaches in Kihei and Wailea are the best around and we made it our goal to visit a different one everyday. We took a catamaran to Lanai to snorkel and enjoy the beach and tidepools for the day. It was fantastic. We left from Lahaina at 8am and returned at 4pm. I would highly recommend that trip. Other than that, we were on our own from hiking Twin Falls, watching the kite surfers in Ho'okipa, hanging out in Paia, going to the Friday Night gatherings in Wailuku, Lahaina, Makawao (a little too low key so we scooted on over to Paia for dinner - great idea) and Kihei. We snorkeled every chance we had (always traveled with our snorkel equipment) and swam to the neighboring beaches from wherever we chose to park our chairs/towels. Favorite restaurants are Kihei Cafe for breakfast; Milagros in Paia; 5 Palms happy hour in Kihei; Iglesia La Luz del Mundo Taco/Burrito cart in Kihei; and Sea House Restaurant in Napili (great cove beach for snorkeling right down the stairs from the restaurant). Needless to say, we are making plans to return next year. Thank you Roy and Jackie."
