  • Actually. Three and a half stars

"I have stayed in many different condos in Kihei. There is usually a mix of good and bad for each unit, and this one is no different. The Bad. Nothing terrible. The love seat needs to be chucked, at least cleaned. It's very dirty. The floor lamp is broken. If you want to use the Murphy bed, all the other furniture has to be piled into the dining area. And the toilet paper holder needs replacing. All easy fixes, and easy to overlook when weighed against the discount price, the convenient location, and friendly staff at the office. Also, a few mornings we saw several dead gnat like bugs drowned in the water droplets in the tub. but those are probably from the work being done in the field next door that has some marshy water, and probably came in when the lanai door was open. Amazingly I did not see a single cockroach, and those show up in any unit in Maui from time to time. The Murphy bed in the living room was very cozy for me...I liked the firm mattress. (There are 2 murphy beds) The kitchen was very well stocked for any type of cooking. (Oh...the scissors kinda suck) The WiFi worked great, and the lanai was great for our meals. I also found the camp chairs in the box on the lanai, along with other extras. To sum it up, I have stayed in "better" more expensive condos, and I have stayed in worse equally priced condos. If you are on a budget, or just want your vacation dollars to spend on the activities that Maui has to offer and Not somebody else's fancy furnishings, then give this unit a try. I would not hesitate to rent this condo again."

  • 2 bedroom, lovely 2nd floor condo in Kihei, Maui

"We are a family of 4 and just returned from 11 nights at this Kihei Garden Estates condo. We had a fabulous time and loved this condo. It is an easy drive from the airport, its clean and equipped with more than I thought including hair dryer, beach towels and lots of beach and pool toys. We liked the easy onsite parking, only half block to beach to play in sand or watch sunsets and short drive to our favorite beaches like Kap Bay, Kam 2 & 3 and Charlie Young. Our kids loved the warm/clean pool and hot tub and we cooked on the gas bbq every evening while the kids swam. I liked that the condo has a loft so high ceilings in all the rooms made this feel open. Our kids liked the Wifi access after being in the sun all day. Lahaina was only 40 min drive and we had fun swimming, whale watching or shopping. The check in and out with this condo was all easy and no issues. This was good value for the money we paid for this condo and definitely want to return!"

  • Kihei Rocks!

"We loved this little condo on the beach. It is super clean, well-supplied with all of the essentials for a Maui stay (excellent backpack style beach chairs, water shoes, beach umbrella, lunch coolers, beach towels and so much more)! The condo has a perfect location, a block from the grocery store, but completely away from any traffic and noise. The beach is great for walking and very private too. If you prefer to bask in the sun on trim, green grass, that is possible too....just outside your door! Everything was super EASY.....from arrival to departure. Condo management is friendly and welcoming - we even attended the Friday coffee morning with other residents. We didn't use the pool or other facilities as Maui has so many amazing snorkelling beaches to explore. Kihei is a grea, central base from which to explore north, east or west.....we absolutely loved our stay here."

  • Pineapple Suite

"Once again we enjoyed being in Maui and staying at the Pineapple Suite and waking up to the sound of the doves cooing. The studio is centrally located, with easy access to the beaches, shops, and restaurants. Thank you, Megan, for organizing everything."
