"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental and check-in process was stream lined and easy as a first time Maui visitor, the availability of a concierge service was a great addition. The condo is beautiful as in the pictures with plenty of supplies like boogie boards and beach chairs and towels, it was conveniently located close to plenty of stores and if you're there for the 4th Friday there is a night market very close that was awesome! We had read some concerns about the water quality in the area and there was some sort of drainage pipe visible from the beach but the water was clean and the beach had the softest sand of any we visited while in Maui. My only negative was the large homeless presence and lack of gate or security in and around the complex but we had no issues. It is also good to note if you use the complex laundry room available have quarters and expect $2 per load to wash and dry. Also, the complex seems to be geared toward a retirement aged population but everyone we met were great. Overall wonderful and affordable option!!"

  • Lovely Stay

"My husband and I stayed at Waiohuli Beach Hale in January 2015 for a week and we enjoyed it very much. It's located at the end of a road so there is no road noise, and it is right on a nice, quiet beach. The condo is just steps from the pool, which is awesome. The complex itself is small/boutique, so it was a pretty quiet place to stay (other than on Sundays when you could tell all the men were watching the football games!). Right down the street, you can walk to Times Market for any groceries you need. They have an awesome poke bar that I would highly recommend paying a visit (or two) to. The condo was nicely updated with granite counter tops, and the king-sized bed was perfect for us (my husband is 6'3"!). There is an air conditioning unit in the bedroom (but it's not meant to cool the whole condo). The kitchen was fully equipped with anything you would need, including some condiments and spices. I would recommend buying a roll of paper towels, and you'll need to buy some good toilet paper at the store. The condo floors were very dirty upon our arrival, so I had to swiffer those a few times to clean them up (my feet were black within 15 minutes). I addressed that issue with the owners and they said they would find another cleaning company! Other than that, everything else was very clean and tidy. Security deposit was returned promptly within a week of our return home as well. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!"

"The unit that we rented was very clean and tidy. Everything in the unit worked. The only downside is that the unit is alittle out-dated. There are other units that are more modern. The front screen door has seen better days and should be replaced. The manager of the complex should take a course on how to manage people. He was very rude to my wife concerning a towel; being left on the gallery post and to my brother, in a different unit, concerning a leak in his unit. He really needs a people skills course. Other than those things, we had a good time and will probably use VRBO again in the future."
