  • Nice condo. We had a great time!

"We loved this place! It was our first time in Maui. The condo was perfect for us and our two year-old. It was at ground level, which means our son could get out and directly start running on the grass. No need to take stairs or elevators. The grass is so well maintained that it looks and feels like a carpet! The pool was very nice. The location of the condo is very central: we could get pretty much anywhere in Maui in less than one hour drive (except Hana). Condo is clean and well equipped. Everything was just great!"

  • great place to stay with family.

"Great location with a great beach veiw. The place was clean and well stocked. Loved being on the first floor with parking close. I have a 6'7 teen so the taller shower was great for him. We ended up putting the twin beds together for him but the sofa is long also. Dining outside was fun while watching the sunsets was ideal. I love this place. Only thing I could do without was the master bed. It's not made for a romantic getaway but still had a blast."

  • Aloha

"What a wonderful unit. Beautifully decorated, above and beyond with amenities. The view was the best ever, we have stayed in many other units on the property and this was first time in bldg. A. Very private and quiet. Thank you for sharing your home with us."

  • So Sad to Leave

"Bill and I left HKOK on March 28th after three wonderful weeks, kicking and screaming as we got on the plane. Adam and Michelle go to great lengths to make their guests feel welcome and comfortable - from the flowers on the table to the large, well-equipped kitchen and closets. The unit is very clean, and there is plenty of equipment for those who like water sports as well as a good supply of towels, pillows and hangers. The attitude of the owners is warm and accommodating; every effort is made to ensure that you are a guest and that you can relax, have fun, and forget your worries. But there is so much more. The unit faces right onto the beach and comes complete with wonderful sunsets most nights. The beach is only steps away from the building and is well-protected. There is WIFI and North-American wide telephone service - a great idea when you have family back home. If you don't feel like going out, Kihei has everything you need for a "stay at home" day. Shopping, restaurants and even a medical clinic are close by. Our favourite occupation is getting up early, eating breakfast on the lanai, and watching the world wake up. However, don't neglect Maui, itself, as there is so much to see and do. We have recommended Michelle and Adam's property at HKOK to many friends, and will continue to do so. We are already starting to count down the time until our next stay in 2016. We enjoy the island and its people, whom we find to be friendly and helpful, and the weather is such a wonderful break from Canada's often severe winter. One final point: the building restricts noise after 10:00 pm, which we appreciate. After a long day out and about, it is nice to know that a good sleep awaits to prepare you for another wonderful day. So, here's to HKOK and its wonderful atmosphere. We can hardly wait until 2016."
