  • Great holidays!

"It is a great location to visit Maui. A lot of groceries near the location. The room has all facilities you need for holidays. We had a great time. The pool area is great."

  • Great Home-Away-From-Home

"When we arrived at Rob's condo and opened the door (the keyless entry is awesome by the way) we both said, "Wow!". We were pleasantly surprised! The condo is REALLY spacious and tastefully furnished, has a nice colour scheme, is neat and adequately clean. It is well stocked with all the necessary essentials (kitchen utensils, towels, bedding) including beach equipment. Although the unit looks down onto the parking lot, there is still a nice view of the palm trees, ocean and grassy lawn. We thoroughly enjoyed opening the curtains in the morning and seeing yet another day in paradise. It was lovely to have sliding doors out onto the lanai from both the bedroom and the livingroom. We had breakfast out on the lanai each morning. The building is VERY safe and the grounds are beautifully maintained, as is the pool area. The staff at the front office were really friendly and helpful. The location of the condo is excellent. It was easy to find (even though we arrived in the dark) and it is not as far to drive to from the airport as West Maui (Kaanapali etc) or Wailea/Makena. Also, the weather in Kihei was mostly dry and sunny while it often rains in the other areas. (We had been advised to book in Kihei by our travel agent for this reason). It is also a good, central location from which to access other parts of the island. It was wonderful working with the condo owner, Rob, as he is very friendly, accommodating and easy going. This was our first time booking through VRBO and it was our first time to Maui, and he made the whole process smooth and easy. He responded to any emails or questions right away. When we asked if we could have a later check-out time (as our flight didn't leave Maui until 10:30pm) he told us we could check-out anytime we wanted that day. All in all, it was a wonderful home-away-from-home for us and we would definitely stay there again! We would also recommend it highly to our friends and family. Mahalo, Rob!"

  • Would do it again

"Half of our ten-day Maui vacation was spent at this comfortable beach home. For our group of 9 (3 generations, ages 6 to 79), we chose this site for close access to water activities, especially snorkeling and a trip to Molokini. The house is modern, well furnished and maintained, and the management had provided careful instructions about parking, trash pickup, and other details. Our contact was very prompt and thorough in responding to our questions. The beach is just beyond the back lawn well supplied with palms and other trees. It is pleasant to take the furnished lawn chairs into the shade and watch the local egrets as they shuttle up and down the flyway. A small flock of chickens enjoy the freedom of the large back yard, unmarred by fences. Don footwear on your first trip to the beach. The sandy path collects nuts and twigs dropped from the trees. While on the narrow beach watch closely and try to spot the tiny translucent crab-like sand residents as they scamper away from your path; they are invisible when not moving. Swimming and snorkeling are probably better on other stretches of Kihei beaches, but here you might see parasailers and windsurfers hot-dogging when wind and waves get lively in the afternoon. Keep your eyes open for the geckos that are common in these climates. We detected one that seemed to hang out behind a picture on the downstairs wall, and a (different?) one that lived behind a light fixture outside below the upstairs veranda. Kihei is warm in August and some other months. Other reviewers have written, correctly, that AC would be nice. But when you are in Hawaii, on Maui, relax and enjoy it as it is. We all had an absolutely great time at this place. If we ever need a Maui rental home of this size, we'll be sure to consider it."

  • Perfect

"You will find everything you need for a perfect vacation in this beautifully decorated, impeccably clean condo. The kitchen has anything you might need if you are cooking and eating in. There are so many extras ie. coffee, zip lock bags, plastic wrap, a small cooler and ice packs for day trips, beach chairs, beach towels.....the list goes on and on. Maria is wonderful. When she learned I was traveling with my 90 year old mother, she contacted me to be sure the bathroom would safe for her, even offering to get a shower chair. I highly recommend this unit and would definitely stay here again."
