"This unit is a fantastic place to stay! This one bedroom condo afforded us all the luxuries of home. We loved the king sized bed, easy walk out to the pool, great beach for long beautiful walks, fabulous sunsets, free long distance and email and everything you might need is available. The kitchen is fully equipped. There are beach chairs and snorkel equipment, travel books on Maui galore and you are steps away from shopping and restaurants. We loved our time there and highly recommend this condo."Guest: Hana Date of Stay: December 2014 Review Submitted: January 2, 2015View listing
"With the ocean just steps away we liked to spend the mornings and evenings going for a swim. The pool was very nice for a couple of laps too. The apartment was nicely renovated and had all kitchen appliances we could use. Air conditioning was nice to have in the bedroom, even it it was a little noisy for our ears the first couple of nights tip we got used to it. We had another couple stay with us for a few nights and they slept on the pullout couch which worked nicely. Overall a great experience and wonderful time in Maui. Would stay again without hesitation."Guest: Fraser J. Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 9, 2014View listing
"We enjoyed our stay at Christine's place so much, we have already booked our return visit for next year. This was a fantastic vacation for my family, and my two daughters (14 & 12) loved it so much it was upon their request that we started planning our return trip mere days upon our arrival back to reality. The owner is extremely easy to work with, and the condo has everything you need. The location is perfect, and sleeping at night with the sounds of the waves just outside is sublime. Thank you so much, and we'll see you again next April!"Guest: David M. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: June 23, 2014View listing
"Having been to Maui three times before, my girlfiend and I have an undeniable connection to the calm pace and natural vibes of this island. For this reason, we wanted to stay away from the big resorts and we both felt that Papa Ouli hit all our wish list points and rolled with it. If you are reading this, we want you to know that you can book this place with 100% confidence. As others have stated in their reviews… The pictures DO NOT do this place justice… As we arrived in Kihei and pulled up to the driveway, my girlfriend who has comments to make about any and everything was in complete silence. We both knew instantly that we had arrived somewhere magical and any uncertainty had quickly melted away… Walking up to the townhome, one side was ours and the other was occupied by other travelers who were friendly and private. To the left of this property is an elderly home and to the right an empty lot. [Talk about no one disturbing us! Exactly what we wanted!] Walking into the lowest level of the home and passing a bedroom to the left, we hurried up the stairs and were greeted by what we consider a “priceless view” - something out of an Architectural Digest spread! Gorgeous, thick wooden screen doors slid open to reveal the lanai, grass, palm trees and ocean. All you hear are waves crashing. All you feel is warmth, calmness and a peaceful energy. The third level is the master with an unobstructed view of the ocean which we both still daydream about today! Couple aspects to highlight about Papa Ouli include the ease of the property, the cleanliness and all those little “things” we worried that we may have forgotten or didn’t pack altogether were there. Fresh beach towels, bath towels , a new washer/dryer , the kitchenware, coffee maker…EVEN beach chairs and umbrellas. everything was ready for our stay! No AC, however the steady ocean winds will keep you cool especially in the evening. The cleanliness was something that was on my mind prior to arrival, but let me assure you, the house was spotless and we both just felt so comfortable! The sauna was a surprise bonus which I used to loosen up before playing tennis. Honestly, I could go on and on… but the one thing about this place that captured our hearts is the LOCATION. We love this island and have to look no further when booking a place because this is where we want to be. Life is all about moments and Papa Ouli’s was the perfect home base for us during our stay. Thank you to Peggy once again!"Guest: Chris and Tia Date of Stay: January 2015 Review Submitted: January 27, 2015View listing
