"Loved our stay in this condo. It is well kept and in a very central location. Grounds are beautifully maintained and clean. Have stayed here many times before and find it to be excellent value for the price. Faye always makes booking so stress free. I loved looking out at the ocean from the lanai while sipping my morning tea."

"This was our second time at the Kihei Akahi property, but in a different condo. This one in the C building on the ground floor was a little noisier and during some of the hottest days, rather warmer in the bedroom than the one in the D building where we were before. Still, the condo offered a lot for the price. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was a ton of beach equipment. I particularly appreciated the very good umbrella and the backpack beach chairs. The owner was responsive and his condo info was very helpful.
We will keep returning to Kihei. We love all the nearby beaches. My favorite activity is walking from the Akahi down to Kam II and then heading south and walking along all the beaches to Wailea and beyond. We also love how easy it is to find so many restaurants within walking distance. However, we were really glad we had a car so we could drive to N. Kihei for the best shave ice ever - Ululani's and to Pizza Madness for the best pizza. Even more important, a car allowed us to drive up to Haleakala as well as to Waihe'e Ridge for hikes. We even took Hwy 340 around the north side of West Maui (completing the whole loop back to Kihei via Kaanapali). That stretch of 340 is rather exciting and you must go slow, but it is truly beautiful and there are several places to buy homemade banana bread."

"We love staying in this unit at the Kihei Kai Nani in south Kihei. It is an end unit which provides extra windows and light and also a nice cross draft. Although there is a/c we have never had to use it. The unit over looks the pool but is screened by greenery for privacy. You can watch the sun rise each morning over Mount Haleakala from your lanai. You are just across the road from safe, sandy, Kamaole II beach (with a life guard) or minutes away by car from secluded beaches. The unit has all the usual kitchen appliances as well as a dish washer and microwave oven for you convenience. The unit is always spotless and the on-site manager is always ready to help in case of a problem. This unit is on the second floor so it avoids the heat of the top floor and has the added security of not being on the ground floor. There are lots of beach toys, boogie boards and beach chairs plus umbrella. There are also many restaurants close by as well as good food markets."

"It was a very last minute stroke of luck that we were able to connect with the charming owners of this lovely little condo. It was like it was "meant to be". The place was perfect in every way. Extremely comfortable, tastefully appointed and decorated, there was absolutely nothing the owners hadn't already thought of in order to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Anything and everything you could think of was available and the king size bed was extremely comfortable. The ambiance of the complex itself was very friendly and yet quiet. All the other residents there were considerate of others regarding noise. The conch blowing celebration of the sunset by a few of the residents each evening was great fun and the little stroll down to the beach to watch the sun go down was really enjoyable. Morning tea and breakfast on the Lanai was a perfect way to start each day. We will highly recommend this place to any of our friends planning to go there."
