  • Great one bedroom location

"We were fortunate to rent this unit in Kihei Kai Nani for an eight night stay. The owner was great to work with for our trip and were able to send in a check and he held our reservation. Our plane arrive in the morning and since the unit was ready, we were able to check in early. What a great condo to stay in while visiting Maui. We especially like to stay in Kihei because of the beaches which were about 3 minutes away. We loved walking on the beaches, snorkeling, swimming, walking on paths near beach and walking over to view the sunset each night. This was all right at our finger tips. This unit was very quiet as it was an end unit and the lanai looked out onto grass and trees. We ate our meals at the table on the lanai. The condo was well furnished and the kitchen was well equipped. The King bed was very comfortable. Stop at Costco after leaving the airport on your way to Kihei and pick up some needed supplies. We love the fresh pineapple, Maui Gold, which they sell. We love eating at Coconut's for their tacos. We also always go to Paia to eat a fish sandwich at the Paia Fish Market. Besides snorkeling at the rock points at the Kamaoli Beaches, we also like snorkeling at Ulua Beach, Wailea. All of these have easy entry from the beach. Thank you for a great vacation."

  • Lovely place to stay

"I, my wife and my kid stayed at Chuck's condo for 11 days. Renting rate (including tax + cleaning) was cheapest in Maui when I compared to other condo in Maui. When we arrived, the condo was quite clean and neat with everything we expected for the vacation. Refrigerator, dishwasher, cooking utensils were clean and good condition. There was no washer + dryer in the unit but there was coin-machine by the condo office ($5 washing +drying). Lots of beach towel for using. The condo itself was quite close to Kamaole Beach 2 (5 min walking). At night, we can walked along the beach and enjoyed ocean air. Since the condo was 5 minutes away from the main street, you could not hear any noise from the restaurant/bar. The condo management also advised everyone living in the condo not to make any noise after 10:00pm. The only minor concern we had was the garden sprinkler system which was turned on for 5-10 minutes around 11:00pm every other day. We could hear it from the bedroom. In the first day, we were awake but we got used to the sound. I don't believe this is the issue because you can easily ask the condo management to change the timer of the sprinkler system to early evening instead of late evening? Grocery store (Foodland) was about 5 minute driving. There were other beautiful beaches in the south as well (10-15 minutes driving). We loved the area but it was not totally isolated like other beautiful and luxury condo. Overall, we were very happy and satisfied with Chuck's place. We definitely stay at his place again when we revisit Maui. Your place was the best!"

  • We keep coming back...

"...to the "Little Grass Shack." And that is because it has everything you need to have a wonderful vacation and it is in a great location in Maui! We love having our breakfast on the lanai looking at the blue sky, palm trees and blue ocean one way and up at Haleakala the other. Having the beach across the street is great and so many others are available within a fifteen minute drive if you want to explore different reefs for snorkelling. Do try the 808 Bistro, which is at the end of the parking lot, for a very nice meal where you BYOB. Also if you are there on a fourth Friday try to take in the Kihei town party for local music, food trucks and vendors. Mahalo, Patricia and Jefferson, for making your condo so inviting. We hope to be back next year."
