A little bit of heaven on earth….
"My wife and I decided to spend our 24th anniversary in Maui from March 13 thru the 24th - our first trip to Hawaii. After doing a lot of research on where to stay, we narrowed it down and decided on this condo in Kihei. Wow, did we make the right choice!
It was clean, quiet, and had everything needed to make our stay feel like home, just as advertised by the owners.
We are an active couple and like to explore. So, of course we wanted to see as much of the island as we could. The condo is centrally located which made the drives shorter to the many places we visited.
The Town of Kihei seemed to have a lot of locals who are VERY friendly and helpful. It didn't seem to be as touristy as some of the other cites in Maui.
We visited a lot of pretty beaches while there and have to say that the Charlie Young Beach 2 blocks from the condo is where we spent most of our beach time, We even saw sea turtles and whales while sunbathing…. amazing!
The condo comes with beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and other things for fun at the beach for the whole family.
As far as the weather goes in Kihei, it only rained 5 minutes the whole time we were there. Lows in the upper 60's and highs in the low to mid 80's.
This was a trip to remember and we plan on coming back again. We would stay here again at Maui Vista condo #3316 in a heartbeat."

"We had a great time here. The condo itself is not super fancy, but the Murphy bed makes it feel spacious. We appreciated that it was well stocked- including snorkel gear & boogie board, umbrella & chairs. (I hate when you rent a condo and there isn't even salt and pepper) There were plenty of towels & extra sheets. The condo complex is a tennis players dream, but the pool is rather small. This unit is at the end of the hall which was very nice (so you don't hear every person coming & going) It was in the 3rd building, which is farther from the road, but I imagine quieter. We (family of 4, including a 5 & 6 year old) walked to the beach across the street, not far at all, but we did prefer driving to other beaches. I would highly recommend this condo, well stocked & you can not beat the price."

"My wife and I stayed in David Mays condo in June of 2015. While we knew we wanted to stay at MV, we weren't sure in which of the numerous available units. David's unit stood out not only because of the ocean view from his lanai, but because of the attention to detail in his updating of the unit. This detail was evident in the ornamental glassware throughout the unit, and the antique chinese chest that served as a TV stand. We were particularly struck by the wine bar and wine refrigerator (stocked with two bottles of cabernet sauvignon). We found David, who lived in the unit across the hall, to be an affable host and more than willing to do what was necessary to make our stay comfortable. His basic philosophy was that he wanted his guests to feel at home. My feeling is that if you're glad to get back to your condo after a long day of doing what it is tourists do, which we were, then you've succeeded. WiFi was faster than that in our own home, and his closet was stocked with everything you need for a vacation at the beach. All said, we'll definitely stay in his unit on our next trip, if we can find an open date."

Quick family vacation / staycation in a great condo
"My family is from Oahu and I live in CA with my 6 yr old so we all met up in Maui for a staycation while we were on Spring Break vacation on the islands. Our stay was for 2 nights and 3 days and the condo resort was perfect. The king bedroom for my mom and her boyfriend was spacious and the loft bedroom upstairs was perfect for my son and I. He especially loved the fact that we had a TV and I loved the fact that he had his own twin bed. The condo had beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, snorkel gear and coolers so we had everything we needed. We never cooked any meals since it was a short stay and there are so many places to eat in a quick drive or short walking distance.
On the last morning there was an unscheduled/unannounced emergency water issue that had no running water. But I contacted the local property management and they were quick to look into it and get back to me. Dawn was traveling as well but responded quickly to my email about the situation and request for a late check out due to unforeseen delay and inconvenience. Overall a great experience!"
