Relaxing get away at good value
"We stayed here for a week and, overall, it was positive. Pat and the staff we dealt with at Ali'i Resorts were wonderful. The location is as described - steps away from an incredible beach and close to shops, restaurants, etc. The unit was clean but the pictures do make it higher end than it actually is. A few of the linens and furnishings are not as pictured. It was great to have all of the conveniences of home and the complex was fairly quiet (aside from some road noise, Kihei is a pretty busy spot). The lanai was wonderful, and even the partial ocean view was breathtaking. Also, we usually had the pool to ourselves when we wanted it. There are a couple things to keep in mind about this suite. First, it has very hard tile throughout. This is great for sweeping up the sand that will inevitably be tracked in but it was not ideal for our incredibly active infant. Second, and we should have realized this from the pictures, there are only showers and no bathtub. Finally, there is a small green space right outside the master bedroom and the birds will probably wake you up. This was fine for us because we're up with the kids anyway, but not ideal for night people. Locally, we enjoyed eating at the Kihei Caffe. Surprisingly, Denny's actually has the best loco moco. Get them to do it with the fried rice!"

"Our stay in this condo was very comfortable. The condo was nicely updated and furnished with everything we needed to make our stay great. Dave was great to work with. Everything was in order for us to arrive. We didn't have any reason to contact him during our stay. Very well organized. The beaches within walking distance (Kamole I, II, III) were great for swimming. Even though the reefs between beaches aren't very exciting, it's the only place we were able to snorkel with the turtles (four at once)! Only thing we didn't enjoy is not having a good ocean view. But we were aware of that when we chose this location. Overall a good location for the quieter side of Maui. Thanks Dave!"

"Where do I begin? Mary's studio condo is the place to stay when in Maui. Kihei one of the most stable weather areas on the island seems to always boast sunshine and no rain. This condo is located on the ground floor allowing easy access in and out throughout the day whether you head to the pool, to BBQ, the beach or and outing further away. The size is an ideal comfortable size with washing facilities right in the condo! Clean, very quiet, great air circulation only requiring the ceiling fan to keep temperatures perfect day and night. I never needed to use the air conditioner. Her private garden lanai as I refer to it is ideal to sit and read and relax on throughout the day and evening. Morning walks along the beach or snorkeling with the turtles at Kam II is a minute walk down the driveway of the complex. It was a wonderful time and incredible experience staying here. Thanks Mary for making this a possibility. Mahalo"

"We had a great visit to Maui and loved staying at this condo! The condo was clean, updated, and quite comfortable. We really liked the location, just across the street (nice safe sidewalk) from Kamaole Beach II where we saw a giant sea turtle several times. The condo pool was a great size with plenty of lounge chairs. The condo was stocked with games, playing cards, DVDs, and books, which was great in the late afternoon and evenings. I highly recommend this condo, and staying at this end of town. You can walk to a great coffee place, beautiful beaches, and good restaurants. When you need a break from the water, there are little shops to explore. Thank you, I'm sure we will be back."
