"erfect location in Kihei, across the street from the beach, nicely appointed unit, which is perfect for a couple. Owner was attentive to our questions. The unit was clean, with a great view of the pool. There is some road noise, but that is the price you pay for the location and view. Barbecues are well kept, as are all communal areas of the complex. There were children staying in the complex, great with the beach, but not lots of child-oriented amenities for them. Spend some time with the concierge who visits weekday mornings, especially for first timers, the bus tour to Hana he suggests is worth the cost versus driving yourself. 84 degrees every day, yet never used a/c with the lovely constant breeze."Guest: Robert M. "This was our second stay here and we can hardly wait for our third! It was larger accommodations then my wife and I needed however after our first stay we didn't even think of going anywhere else. There are many plus's for this site with the top one for us being the location. Having ground floor access only steps from the pool area was wonderful. Makes for easy access to the bbq's without having to walk all through the building with food. The parking space is also convenient being very close to the entrance. The condo is fully equipped with whatever we needed. We used the provided beach chairs and mats everyday as we were only minutes away from Kama'ole Beach II by walking and the sunsets are not to be missed. The lanai was much used and is very peaceful. Many pictures were taken right from there as there are numerous bird species to be seen right in front of you. We are planning our third trip and will definitely be partaking of Palekaiko. Della is extremely helpful and was quick to answer any and all questions we had, she is a pleasure to deal with."Guest: Trev Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: December 18, 2014View listing
"We stayed in this condo for a week from December 27- January 4. From the time of booking until our departure, we were very impressed. Laurie responded to our inquiry promptly and gave us lots of detailed information before we arrived which was helpful. Directions were provided by Maui 5 star who were also helpful and informative, and we found the place very easily in the dark. Keys were left in a lock box and check in was very easy. The location of the condo is perfect......close to several great beaches and shops, very quiet and it never gets the hot sun blasting in. The unit is very close to the elevator which was nice when bringing up luggage, groceries, etc. We did not ever need the air conditioning on as the breeze at night keeps things cool. The unit is well stocked and very clean. It was nice to have the basics like salt and pepper, sugar, soya sauce, plastic wrap, etc. The pantry has a big supply of items and they just ask that the person who uses the last of anything replaces it. We brought our own snorkeling gear but they had a few sets there as well as other beach supplies and towels. We appreciated the games that have been left for renters to use......our kids had a few good monopoly matches!! The beaches are so great that we never used the pool area, but it looked nice and always had chairs available. The barbeque areas were also spotless. After 10pm is quiet time, which was great for a family like us, but maybe not so great if you are into a party atmosphere. We would highly recommend and will stay again if we ever have the opportunity. Thank you!"Guest: Golden Date of Stay: December 2013 Review Submitted: January 14, 2014View listing
