  • Home away from home

"My husband and I arrived late Friday evening. Tracy had sent a detailed map of how to get to the condo as well as great info about restaurants and activities etc. We stopped on route to pick up some groceries. We arrived to a well decorated, clean and comfortable condo. Because we had arrived so late the office was closed but, there was a Kihei Kai Nani staff on hand still at the late hour to direct us and say a friendly Aloha! This was our first time to Maui and nothing could have prepared me for the magic and energy of this island! We awoke to birds singing and chirping, it sounded like we were in amongst the jungle. The wonderful staff checked us in and I left with fresh mangoes, oranges and bananas. With an offer to get us starfruit if we liked. Tracy has thought of every detail! Spices for seasoning your steaks for the bbq, coolers, beach towels, mats, boogie boards, ice packs for the cooler. Scrabble (so nice to play a game on the lanai, sipping your wine or blender drink. Yes, there is a blender!) The bed was comfy...great location, peek a boo ocean view, close to the pool and laundry. A book exchange in the laundrymat, great idea. Just a hop, skip and a jump to Kam Beach #2. Cafe O Lei, is a wonderful and delicious restaurant. 808 deli, right next door is yum! If you are looking for relaxation, beach time, and a place to recharge this is it! The only cons I would say is that it is a quiet complex 9-10pm kihei itself quiets down. We did have an issue while here with the A/C. It wasn't working, we talked to the staff and Tracy but, it did not get fixed while we were there. 8 nights total. Good think for the breeze and louver windows...If you are thinking of going to Maui, do it! I cannot rave enough about the ambiance, snorkeling, the locals, it truly is magical! If you want a home away from home and need some quiet time and a recharge. Tracy's condo is fantastic! Activities and places we went and did. La Perouse Bay for snorkeling, and amazing lava fields. Makena State Park (Big Beach) If you are a golfer or feel like a spa day check out Wailea! Wow, fancy schmanzy! Kamaole Beaches are great for boogie boarding, body surfing, snorkeling and watching the most romantic sunsets, the aquarium was great! Cloudy day hit here for sure! Mile 14, is an amazing stretch of beaches between Lahaina and Ma'alaea for snorkeling. The list goes on and on, we are for sure going back and will bring our kids (13&21) I have to share the magic!"

  • Lovely holiday

"This was our first trip to Maui. Dorli was extremely helpful and always available to answer questions. We had the luck of being on Maui when Hurricane Iselle came to Hawaii. Dorli patiently answered questions and put us at ease, thankfully the hurricane turned into a tropical storm by the time it hit Maui. The condo is in a perfect location. A short walk to many different beaches, right across the street from a surfing company and close to shopping for souvenirs and groceries. The condo is the perfect size for a family or two couples with comfortable beds and almost everything you need to cook your own meals. During our stay we stopped a probably 8 different beaches and saw many different fish, turtles, eels and even an octopus while snorkeling. If we come back to Maui we will make sure and see if Dorli is still has condos available to rent. Already missing the warm Maui weather, coffee on the lanai and snorkeling."

  • Great Value and Location

"We stayed at this location for 3 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. We felt this was a great value. The view is really amazing and even though the complex is large, it is quiet. The condo is remodeled and is beautiful. Pros: CLEAN! W/d in unit!, walking within 1 minute of great beaches and shops/restaurants, close to the pool, great view, fully equipped kitched, large stand-up shower, many beach accessories. CONS: No a/c in the bedroom (but there is an extra fan that helps), no curtains in the living room by the couch for privacy and really nit picky, but there was no luggage cart and the complex is pretty far from the parking space. The pros far outweigh the cons, but just wanted to be honest. Another side note: the dishwasher had a hard time getting the dishes clean. I had to hand wash the majority of the dishes that came out, since there was a lot of food specks left on them and I didn't want to put them away like that. During our stay when we used the dishes in the cupboards I noticed that many were not clean and had to re-wash...I believe this to be due to the dishwasher's inefficiency. It may need to be looked at."

  • Fantastic Location!

"My husband and I recently stayed in this condo with our 6 month old son. It was absolutely perfect for our vacation in Maui! The location is fantastic. There is a great beach right across the street and it is within walking distance from many great shops and restaurants. I think what we liked best about the condo is that it is on the ground level over looking the pool. Every morning we had our breakfast and coffee on the lanai while our little guy played on the grass. We had a great vacation in Maui...unfortunately it was too short!! Mahalo!"
