  • Wonderful Vacation

"Enjoyed our week at this updated and well maintained property. The unit has a beautiful view of the pool and across to the beach. It is in easy walking distance to the grocery store, Starbucks, restaurants and a Farmers Market that is open Wednesdays and Saturdays. We enjoyed getting a cup of coffee each morning and taking it to the water's edge where we could watch the surfers, and one morning, fishermen. This is a park-like area with a walking/biking path that leads back to the condo. We enjoyed several restaurants both away and nearby - particularly Café Carmen in the Technical Research Center near the golf course. For a very special treat, be sure to eat at 5 Palms. If you choose to stay here you will not be disappointed."

  • Just awesome!

"We just loved this condo! It's clean, modern, nice and everything you could wish for. The kitchen is amazing with a big fridge and even a microwave. I loved the washer and the dryer in the bathroom, you get detergent at check-in, so no need to buy expensive stuff at the supermarket. There is a flat screen with DVD player and lots of DVDs provided and you can watch from the bed or the couch. But the best part of this condo is the lanai! A DREAM! I loved sitting out there and looking at the mountain or the water and palms. It's absolutely quiet on the 6th floor with an unobstructed view, so no one will disturb you or look into the condo. There is pool for a quick refreshment or the Kamaole Beach Park 2 just across the street. We always took the beach chairs and the sun umbrella over there to have a swim and get some tan. The condo is a few minutes away from the city center, but with a car (and I would definitely recommend it for Maui) it's absolutely close to everything! A restaurant recommendation: "Da Kitchen" is just a few steps away and offers real hawaiian cuisine. Try the Korean Chicken!! Suzi is absolutely sweet and easy to talk to! We will definitely stay here again! :))"

  • Great place

"Very nice. For the price you can't go wrong. The condo was clean and comfortable. It was also free of bugs, which can be quite tricky on these islands. Even with it's small size we easily housed a family of four and still enough room to move around and manipulate living out of luggage. As others have stated, the washer and dryer are small, but unless you're washing quilts or clothes for an army they're more than sufficient. The office gives you a bag of the special low-suds soap during check in so you shouldn't need to buy any. There's also a small window unit air conditioner if needed. We used it one night, so I know it works pretty well. The location is really hard to beat. It's a 500 foot walk to Kamaole II and a 5-10 minute walk to beaches I & III. There's also a number of eateries in easy walking distance right around the corner. Most of the dining is in this area of South Kihei, North Kihei more heavily populated with hotels and resorts. For those that like to eat in, there's a really good Safeway about a 10 minute drive away. The extras Ryan and his wife provide were appreciated as they saved time (and a few bucks) rather than dealing with the short term rental places. We made good use of the buggy boards, beach chairs and snorkel masks. All in all, a super place to stay. The location, comfort, safety and value are superb."
