"This was our first class budget week in paradise! Jeanne's condo felt very homey, perfectly stocked, with lots of comfortable furniture, and island decor. The hubby and I couldn't stop taking photo's of the 180 degree view from the lanai!... tradewinds, sunset, dinner. An affordable million dollar view? Kihei is not the 5 star experience in Wailea but filled with affordable condos and lots of locals who make it a MUCH more interesting experience. It offers the best beaches and shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Driving takes you anywhere on the Island. The most fun was 'Kai Kanani' early morning Molokini Express Snorkel boat leaving from Makenna Beach 10-15 minutes away. In our short week, we also did the Haleakala drive and some of the Road to Hana, checked out Lahaina, the Ocean Center & swam every late afternoon in Kam 2 across the street til sunset... Down season is VERY quiet and beaches were pretty empty. So we lucked out big time. My husband and I were so pleased we chose this condo. This was the kind of get-away we enjoy! Thanks Jeanne for keeping it affordable!"Guest: Susan B. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 21, 2014View listing
"My husband and I booked this place for our wedding week. None of the pictures on the site do this place justice. You have a 180 degree view of the shore in the living, kitchen and dining rooms. The sunsets are amazing. I took like 455 pictures and they're all beautiful We had 2 BBQ parties with 25 people. Everything was perfect. Come here for fun. It is like the place you would buy and let your friends come to. It is just across the street from the beach. Condo has snorkeling gear, paddle boat gear... and not just for two or four... but bags of them in the deck storage. I wish I could own this place.... Master bedroom/bath is kind of weird in that the toilet, shower, bed is all in one room-- so be warned. Condo does not have central air, but it really isn't a problem if you open the right windows or turn on the AC equipment. Bedrooms don't have view of ocean.... so pick your priorities. As I said, I'd buy this place if they'd sell it to me. My favorite part was waking up early and having coffee on the lanai and hearing the waves crash on the shore. Not sure why I can't upload photos... so email me if you want to see them."Guest: Mark Anthony Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 17, 2014View listing
"This is an EXCELLENT condo and my family had a great stay here. The location is about a three minute walk down the driveway to the beach and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. In addition, there are three grocery stores (Foodland, Times and Safeway) within about a 5-10 minute drive so you can easily stock up on whatever you need. The Safeway (most expensive of the bunch) is located in a brand new plaza with a bunch of restaurants. The condo has everything that you need, including a fully equipped, large kitchen, washer and dryer (not quite full size but more than enough), dining area with a table and chairs, living area (pull out sofa couch, a/c unit and TV), two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is a corner unit at the back of the property so there is no noise at all except the birds in the morning (and they can start chirping early). Boogie boards, cooler, chairs and umbrellas for the beach are also available in the condo. Great sunsets at the beach to boot. The drive to Lahaina is about 30-40 minutes so if you are doing a lot of activities there, be prepared for the drive. There is also a golf course (did not play) about a 5 minute drive away. The only thing missing for me would have been an a/c unit in the main bedroom since it could get pretty hot in the condo (lots of fans though) but with electricity prices so high, the one unit in the main area did a good job of cooling down the area. I would highly recommend this property."Guest: Jeffrey F. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 14, 2014View listing
"My wife and I stayed for 10 days here. It has a great view from wall of windows and deck. You can watch people learning to surf across the street in park. Grocery store is in walking distance. Easy to get around to different places on island from here. Some nice places to eat are near by. Recommend try Maui Tacos. Owners did a beautiful job on the up grades. We had a problem with the air conditioner one night and owners fixed it the next day. Owners were very nice to us and we will always recommend their place to our family and friends. If you want to save money on laundry they have nice machines. Also if you want to save money on food and cook at condo the kitchen is great and fully stocked with dishes pots, pans and everything you need. Also they have stuff like beach towel and stuff to play on beach with at condo. So if you want some place to stay and know that you are going to have a good time them I would recommend staying here. My wife and I already want to go back to Maui and stay here again. Thank you to the owners for letting us stay there and create great memories."Guest: Andrew P.
