"Enjoyed our week at this updated and well maintained property. The unit has a beautiful view of the pool and across to the beach. It is in easy walking distance to the grocery store, Starbucks, restaurants and a Farmers Market that is open Wednesdays and Saturdays. We enjoyed getting a cup of coffee each morning and taking it to the water's edge where we could watch the surfers, and one morning, fishermen. This is a park-like area with a walking/biking path that leads back to the condo. We enjoyed several restaurants both away and nearby - particularly Café Carmen in the Technical Research Center near the golf course. For a very special treat, be sure to eat at 5 Palms. If you choose to stay here you will not be disappointed."Guest: Carmen Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 5, 2014View listing
"My husband and I just spent a week in this condo for our honeymoon and it was perfect, exactly as described - great location, fully furnished with all of the home essentials, and amazing views! We felt instantly at home. The owner, August, was quick to respond to emails and full of helpful information, and accessing the unit upon arrival was a breeze. HPH is a great property with a pool and beach access. Not very crowded, almost like a private beach! The Kihei location was convenient to all of our activities, and we equally enjoyed relaxing on the lanai in our Maui "home." Sitting on the lawn watching the sunset over the beach was amazing. If luck brings us back to Maui, I'd stay here again without hesitation. Thank you August!"Guest: Shawn Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 2, 2014View listing
"My wife and I recently stayed here for our honeymoon and would recommend it highly! Condo was clean and well maintained and location is close to multiple beaches. There are 3 beaches within walking distance and another 3 a short drive away. Perfect for relaxing on the beach for the day. The condo also has a storage container complete with anything you'd need for spending a day at the beach. It has (4) backpack beach chairs, which can hold all your towels/sunscreen, etc. There are multiple small coolers, pool noodles, play toys for kids - all there for your use during your stay. The condo complex is well maintained and quiet and each building has it's own BBQ area, tennis courts and pool. The BBQ area is just steps outside of this condo and made cooking meals that much easier. Loved the central location of the condo for beach access, restaurants and rentals for surfing/stand up paddle boarding. We rented stand up paddle boards multiple days across from Cove Park beach area (just a few blocks from the condo complex), and they also do surf lessons there. The Kihei Cafe also located down the street is very reasonably priced and has great food! Cafe Ole for dinner is another great spot that is just down the street. Wailea is a short 10min. drive down the road and offers shops, restaurants, and more beaches. I would highly recommend the all you can eat weekend brunch at the Grand Wailea and checking out Big Beach at Makenna St. Park. If you're willing to venture out further (approx. 45min), Lahaina offers many shops, restaurants, & the harbor where many of the snorkel or sailing cruises leave. A bit of a drive, but worth it! Overall, had a really great time, and enjoyed our stay. Condo was clean, maintained and accurate to its descriptions. Would recommend highly & can't wait to come back again!"Guest: Mike & Sarah Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 22, 2014View listing
