  • Good apartment, good location, great holiday.

"Keeping it short: this apartment is attractive, has a good view of the ocean and is really well-stocked. Beach towels and gear of various sorts are provided and the kitchen included an unexpected amount of staples such as olive oil, condiments, herbs, spices, sugar etc. It was very warm when we arrived but once we got into the routine of keeping the shutters down and the fans on low during the day we found we didn't need the AC at all. As for location, I'd say this part of the South Kihei Road is pretty ideal if you plan to do more than just lounge on the beach and swim, and actually want to explore the island. Being situated between the two "lobes" of Maui you're good for the road to Hana and Lahaina/West Maui. Obviously if you want to concentrate on a particular area, that's where you stay, but for us it made a lot of sense to be situated centrally like this. The local beaches are perfectly fine, although not the best on the island, and while the restaurants in the immediate neighbourhood are not great, a shortish stroll north gets you to some much better places. All in all, very satisfied."

  • Great Maui Holiday

"We are keen windsurfers from New Zealand and return to Maui every year. We have just spent a fabulous three weeks at Maui Vista Condo 3112. This is our 4th year staying at Chris and Ron's lovely Condo. It is in the quiet building with a beautiful outlook to the pool and the sea beyond and the tennis courts close by. The Condo is luxuriously appointed and we felt so at home the moment we arrived. The Condo was spotless when we arrived and was easy to maintain during our stay. Cant wait till next year. Thankyou Ron and Chris!"

  • Amazing condo and location

"This condo had everything you needed to enjoy Maui. The location in Kihei was perfect. Being close to all the beaches was beautiful. You will need a car, but it was a quick drive to Waliea right across from a Kamaole II. When you left the windows open you could enjoy the Maui breeze. I would totally recommend this condo."

  • excellent value

"Having now stayed in 3 VRBO condos in Hawaii, my wife and I were very pleased with this condo. I think it's very suitable for a couple or a small family on a middle-class budget. The rental company is professional and sends you all the info you need in a single email that is easily printed. The condo is walking distance to shops, a grocery store, and restaurants in Kihei and right across from the beach. Although the condo is on a busy street, it is "set back" enough that you don't hear traffic too much. It even has a porch with a view of the sunset. My only complaint is that the air conditioner is on the opposite side of the condo from the bedroom so my wife got hot while sleeping during the warmer days. But at least it has AC, right? The appliances are older but function. If you want fancy accommodations there are newer hotels and condos but of course you will pay more. This was very reasonable and we would try to stay here again if we come back to Kihei again. Mahalo!"
