"We stayed in this condo about 15 years ago, and came back this year (2014) being older now with young adult children. It was a good place years ago and now when we are used to more comforts and amenities, this exceeded our expectations - with older children too. I won't spend time discussing most of the features because the photographs you see are accurate. (Perhaps they don't show the large flat screen TV.) I will mention, however, that the owner Carole is a gourmet cook so the kitchen is very well appointed. Your meals on the lanai with a view of the ocean and Molokai can be a better experience than many other places as an awning can block the direct sun. Beach towels are supplied as well as beach equipment chairs and umbrella, and toys for young children. Snorkeling is available at many beaches, but across the street from the complex is Kamaole beach park #1 with some rocks hiding fish and even sea turtles large and small and safe so that was a real extra treat. No need to drive to others unless you like to explore. Recommend "Aunties" snorkel equipment about a block away from the complex for friendly knowledgeable service from Paul the owner and equipment including masks with vision correction at reasonable prices. The washer, dryer and dishwasher seem modern and work well. For those who like tennis, the complex has two clean courts, no waiting when we were there. Free covered parking is available for guests. The complex has elevators for those with mobility issues. I am not a fan of using air conditioning when reasonable alternatives are available, and although the condo has an air conditioner, it also has many ceiling fans, desk fans, a a large exhaust fan for the upstairs bedroom alcove, so we used those for a better tropical atmosphere. My wife is not easy to please for beds, but she found the master bed at least as good as ours at home. To be sure, we have not tried others in Maui recently, but I doubt you will find anything better equipped and more comfortable for the price. For a lifetime dining experience, in every respect, food, ambiance, beach location and service, although expensive, I recommend Mama's Fish House across the Island about an easy 35 minute drive. For great breakfast try Kihei Cafe about a mile down the road."Guest: AlorChip Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: November 11, 2014View listing
"This property was exactly as stated, right across the road is the ocean, you can watch them learn to surf all day long. A perfect view on the sunset every night right from your Lania while relaxing with your favorite beverage, the pool area and BBQs are kept immaculate. close to all kinds of restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay here again, owner was great to deal with. Mahalo."Guest: Brad H. Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: January 22, 2014View listing
"You really have to see the views from this condo to believe them. The location is better than the pictures AND the description. We didn't even use our car to get to any of the shops or restaurants we visited. Charlie Young beach was wonderful and it's a stones throw away. We snorkeled at one of the beaches a few minutes to the south where we went swimming with turtles. The condo was equipped with everything we needed from internet access to a washer and dryer. There were even beach chairs and all of the small kitchen appliances and gadgets we could ever want when we decided to cook and eat in. But what I miss the most is watching the sunset from the lanai with drink in hand. It was a joy working with Debbie. She was genuinely interested in making sure we enjoyed our stay, had fun and took advantage of everything that Maui had to offer. When can I come back Debbie?"Guest: Sue Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 6, 2014View listing
"This is our second stay at this condo. We had such a wonderful experience the first time, we had to return. We researched Maui far and wide before booking this condo and we were more than happy with our decision. Kihei is the perfect laid back beach town - not as resort-ish as Kaanapali, not as fancy as Wailea (we're not fancy people!) and with more amenities than the Napili area. We were also thrilled with the location of the Kihei Kai Nani - close to shops, restaurants and across from the BEST beach. This condo is perfectly situated within the complex, far enough away from the street noise, close to the pool and very quiet. The lanai was private and facing a lovely green belt. It is only a 2 minute walk to the beach. The owners have made sure that the condo has everything you'd need while staying there - from free WiFi, to a coffee maker to beach chairs/umbrella, and lots of towels. We can't say enough about this condo. You simply cannot go wrong staying here and we're sure you'll feel the way we do, that this condo is a "home away from home" and we cannot wait to come back."Guest: Rob & Judy Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: November 6, 2014View listing
