"My husband and I, along with our 2 boys aged 12 and 10 stayed at Maui Vista at the beginning of July. We could not have asked a more adorable "Beach House". Don and Karen were lovely to communicate with while making our reservations work around certain dates and they even accommodated a late check out for us since we had a red eye flight home. Their condo is very well kept and clean, the kitchen is stocked with everything you would ever need to prepare fabulous meals and their attention to detail in the condo is very noticeable. We loved having enough beach chairs and boogie boards for our whole family to use, and the beach right across the street was very family friendly. It was nice to have shops and restaurants within walking distance and it became a tradition each night to walk down for an ice cream to enjoy while watching the sunsets. As a family who needs to eat gluten free due to 3 of us having celiac disease we found it easy to find choices while eating out. Our two favorite restaurants in Kihei were Maui Brick Oven which is 100% GF and Sensai which is a Japanese restaurant with a sizable GF menu. The town of Lahaina had many restaurants with a large selection of gluten free options as well. The town of Kihei is located within easy access to exploring the island and we found it easy to get to all tourist locations. We would highly recommend this condo to our friends and family and hope to return to stay there again soon. Thanks Don and Karen!"

  • can't wait to come back!

"Hello! My family has a unit in the 2nd building (1 BR) but it was all booked up for the month of January and since my travel group included 4 adults, getting a larger space just worked out perfectly! Your space and decor is gorgeous. I'd most definitely request it or recommend it to people that preferred a unit in the first building or needed the space! Having the living room space to just hang out was really nice. The view from the balcony was also gorgeous! Loved the plastic furniture (for drying scuba gear) and the nicer wood tall chairs and tables. Towels for bath and beach were plentiful and it was nice to have the extra beach amenities too (although we all brought our own scuba gear). Oh, went to Makawao for Maui Fridays and bought some coasters for your tables from the Sherri Reeve gallery!"

  • A Little Bit of Paradise

"Thanks, Gary and Marian, for sharing your Maui condo with us! Wish we could have stayed the whole trip at this condo! Tastefully decorated, a fully stocked kitchen including plastic ware for picnics, BBQ and pool area, comfy beds with nice linens, private lanai area, great proximity to pool, tennis court, BBQ and other friendly visitors......this place is a hidden gem! Close to Kihei's main beaches and a short drive takes you to Wailea area. Gary and Marian have left info for the area as to restaurants, etc. There are beach toys for the kids, noodles, chairs, an umbrella, beach towels. Be sure to sit by the pool at night and watch the stars......it's the place for your next Maui vacation!"

"This was our 2nd stay at Mauibabbe Hidaway, and what a wonderful place to stay. The condo is in excellent shape. Well stocked kitchen, the beds are very comfortable. and the location is perfect, 3 mins to the beach. The grounds are wonderful, the pool area is great, the BBQ and eating area are clean and very well kept. Our hostess Valerie is very attentive, calling us to make sure we were comfortable. We will definitely be back. WE LOVE IT!!"
