"Loved the location with beaches and restaurants a super short walking distance from condo. We rented a car and liked how we could drive in any direction without a lot of time used up in the car. It is a quiet area and we liked being on ground level. Only disappointment was the cleaning lady forgot to clean up after last visitors so we had to clean and wash sheets etc. when we got there. We were reimbursed the cleaning fee plus a little more, but still, not the way to start a first get-away trip to Hawaii. Be sure to ask about having the place clean before you arrive and this would then move into the excellent rating."Guest: Rhonda H. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 24, 2014View listing
"You can't get a better located condo for beach activities. Great soft sand beach across the road with rocky points on each end which are great for snorkeling to see turtles, many beautiful fish species, and coral. Great beach for swimming and body boarding (when swells are higher). Many people go just across the road to watch the sunsets. Location also has lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. We also enjoyed a very good little coffee place just short walk north. Condo is best equipped for cooking that I have seen with every utensil needed. Condo has been updated and is very comfortable. Very comfortable bed. Also has body boards, beach chairs, etc for beach activities. I read some reviewer complaints about the noise in the morning, but we didn't find this a problem as we were on continental time and awake and about way before the trash trucks came. Morning is the best time in Maui anyway so don't sleep in. Most of the day and night we did not notice any disturbing noises and in fact at night you are close enough to the ocean to hear waves breaking at night (if windows are open) which is very calming."Guest: Brian D Date of Stay: December 2014 Review Submitted: December 22, 2014View listing
"My boyfriend and I stayed in this condo for a week in October and had an incredible time! The location was perfect - right across the street from a really nice public beach in Kihei (Kamaole Beach II). The condo complex/neighborhood was quiet, safe and felt as though there were many local residents as opposed to overly-crowded with tourists. Kihei is centrally-located on the west coast of Maui - so, in addition to BEAUTIFUL sunsets, it was convenient to take days trips to Kaanapali, Lahaina, Wailea, etc. The condo itself is among the best in the condo complex because it's a large corner unit away from the street and elevated on a hill, yet on the ground floor and shaded so it stays cool in the hot weather. It's close to good restaurants, including Kihei Caffe and Sansei, but also has a fully-stocked kitchen so you can go grocery shopping and save some money by cooking. The condo features a nice modern TV with an outlet for Chromecast or other streaming devices, but also has cable so you can keep up with your favorite shows, football games and more (there is also fast, free Wi-Fi). The condo has numerous swimming accessories (floating noodles, snorkel gear and more), plus sunscreen so you really feel like you're at home. The bathroom was remodeled and includes a spacious shower which is perfect for after a long day at the beach. The king-sized bed in the bedroom felt huge and was super comfortable. The complex has a nice pool, though we spent most of our time at the beach. All around, this place is an excellent value - you get a lot for your money! We will definitely be staying here again and have already recommended to friends and family."Guest: Travis & Lori Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: November 17, 2014View listing
