  • Quiet, Quaint, and SOOO close to the beach

"We stayed for our honeymoon and couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. The condo is in a nice quiet complex, directly across the street from Charlie Young beach. Left the blinds open to allow the sun to wake us early, have a nice breakfast on the deck overlooking the pool and the ocean, and be out on the beach by 8:30. The beach was extremely quiet from 8:30 - 11:00 and only moderately busy the remainder of the afternoon. Best restaurants in Kihei are a block in either direction. We headed their for lunch, and back to the condo for a midday nap or near by activities (paddle boarding, snorkeling, whale watching, scooter rentals, etc.) and then back to the beach for the sunset and a late evening dip. Once the sun dips below the horizon all the beach goers head home and we seemingly had the entire beach to ourselves. The condo has a comfy bed, air conditioner works great, but opening the slider on the deck and the windows in the bedroom brings in an incredible ocean breeze that cools the place just fine. Brand new smart tv for late night netflix binging, and a sofa sleeper for the kids or guests. Couldn't have been happier with our decision to stay here!"

  • Awesome

"We really enjoyed our stay. Your place had everything we could want or need. It was very comfortable. There are beach towels, boogie boards, snorkel equipment, even a beach bag to carry everything. Although you don't have to carry it too far, there is a great beach right across the street. There is a crosswalk right at the entrance to the condo driveway. The location was awesome. The best view and sunsets from the lanai. Lots of good restaurants / shops within walking distance. The kitchen has everything you need from dishes to pots / pans / blender / electric frying pan and even condiments and spices. It was really great and cost effective to be able to cook our own meals instead of having to eat at restaurants all the time. It really was a home away from home. Jay and Judy were really wonderful to deal with. Very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely come back to your place when we come back to Maui"

  • Vacation with my wife and kids

"I have seen many units at Kihea Akahi, and this one is the best, with a ergonomic and thoughtfully laid out kitchen, gorgeous view from the lanai, comfortable beds and furniture and plenty of room for your stuff. The owners provide beach paraphernalia so all kinds, including snorkeling gear, so you will not want for anything."

  • Maui Family Vacation

"This was a first time vacation for our family and friends. The condo was very accommodating, allowing us to sleep 6 plus an infant comfortablely. The condo was equipped with all of our kitchen and beach needs. The location of the condo was also great - easy access to the pool, variety of restaurants and convenient stores, and close to other main locations such as Lahaina. I can't wait to return to Maui and stay here again."
