"The condo is in a great location in south Kihei in Maui. Numerous dining options within walking distance, the beach less than a block away and options for renting snorkeling, surfing, and booking excursions just across from the enterance to the condos. The condo itself was spacious, decorative, and well stocked with all that you could need, even beach chairs and an umbrella. Incidentally, the beach (Kamaole Beack I) is just outside the complex and across the street. The rooftop patio is too hot to use during the day but ideal in the late evening since it is directly in the sun all day with no umbrellas or shade. Keep in mind it is only open until 9. We only used it once and everyone was friendly and there are a reasonable amount of tables. The only pests we had were mosquitos as my daughters came in bitten up after an evening on the lanai, BRING BUG REPELLANT. It was hot and the living room wall AC did nothing to cool the 2 bedrooms at the front of the condo. Ceiling fans in those rooms were not enough and it would be great if fans could be put in both rooms or better yet a small AC unit. Another complex where some friends stood had them in rooms and they were quiet and worked great. Running the AC unit is not only noisy for anyone on the lanai but it gave off a lot of heat on the lanai. The pool was a good size and never too busy, no jacuzzi. Vince and Rose who own/manage the place were absolutely lovely! They were not only courteous and welcoming but helpful in providing information. The keychain discount card they give you for the local supermarket is a must for any shopping at that store. I recommend stopping at Costco, Wal-mart, or K-mart when leaving the airport when you arrive to buy anything you might need. Safeway is a short drive away from the condo also, which is the only place we found Tajin for our Micheladas. Overall, we had a great time and would gladly stay at this condo again."Guest: Family from Stockton Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 13, 2014View listing
"The condo was very clean upon arrival. Everything was easy to find within the condo, including beach towels! There was also a boogie board and umbrella for use while at the beach, which was a short walk down the road. The property was lovely and well kept. I didn't like having to have a key to exit the pool but it's negligible. Dean was great to deal with and I hope one day to return! Thanks for the accommodations and a wonderful vacation!"Guest: Barbara F. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 30, 2014View listing
"My husband and I stayed here for 9 days for our honeymoon. It was the perfect condo for what we needed! The condo had everything. So happy to find tons of beach gear (that we used every day) and there was also a yoga mat (which I am sad I never got a chance to use). It was a great location, across the street from Kamaole Beach 1. We had a great view on the lanai and it was nice being close to a coffee-shop, some restaurants and the beach. We found a lot of fantastic beaches within 5-15 minutes of where the condo was. It wasn't too far of a drive from the airport/Costco. The washer/dryer in the unit was fantastic. There were tons of beach towels and a cooler for picnic lunches. There were several guide books in the condo that we used every day. Wendy left some restaurant recommendations that we loved as well. The condo itself is older (the pool is very small and the elevator is sooo slow). But the unit we rented looked like it had been updated. Everything was clean, worked well and was comfortable. Would definitely recommend this condo for a vacation. We enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave!"Guest: Lisa E. Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 6, 2014View listing
"We had six nights in this Kihei condo and absolutely loved it. Its in south Kihei on a beautiful beach, with amazing views from the main living area and master bedroom (which is on a mezzzaine). Many of the resorts in this area are on the other side of the road back from the beach but this is absolute beach front. Although there is no pool or other facilities with a resort, the views and ease of access to the beach more than compensate. There is a supermarket and some good restaurants within a 2 minute drive or 5-10 minute walk. We thought the condo was good value for money too - last year we stayed in a resort up in Kaanapali which was much more expensive and not quite as nice. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in a stunning location away from the bustle of a resort."Guest: Catherine S.
