"This nicely decorated condo is located across the street from the lovely Kamaole II beach (“Kam II”) and near all kinds of restaurants. It is an end unit so has extra windows for good circulation. Very quiet because it is toward the back, and the lanai faces north toward trees and shrubbery, not busy Kihei Road like so many other condos. We crossed the road to the beach to swim and see the sunset, and met many friendly people doing the same. The location is central for so many Maui sights - just 25 minutes to Kahului and the beginning of the Road to Hana, Haleakala Road, Iao Valley and Waihee Ridge. Only 10 minutes to the beautiful Waimea area. The people at the front desk were so very nice and helpful when we had a problem with our airline tickets. This was a great place to stay."Guest: lynn c. "This was our second stay at Cynthia's lovely Kalama Terrace condo (& fifth trip to Maui). This is a beautiful & comfortable condo! The photos are very accurate and you will find your new Maui "home" in this condo! You can relax in the condo or by the great pool! We only ate out a few times per week because we can use the grill by the pool or the full size gas stove. The pool is very nice & gave us an opportunity to meet other vacationers and owners. Very conveniently, Kalama Terrace is 2 blocks from Charley Young Beach - our favorite - OR 3 blocks to Cove Park & beach. Kihei is the best area, we think, on Maui and this condo is the best! (We visited 4 condos in different locations and none even begin to compare to "our" Kalama Terrace condo!) There are many restaurants to choose from but we LOVED Eskimo Candy - just north of the condo - with many fish and shrimp choices! Also, Kihei Car Rental is the best rental company we have dealt with and they are located in Kihei. Check them out! Cynthia is great to work and VERY quick to respond if there is a question or issue! We appreciate her sharing this condo with us and we will be back!"Guest: Nana and Papa Q Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: March 26, 2014View listing
"We loved staying at this condo- we stayed for one week and loved it here. It is within walking distance to numerous restaurants/bars and the grocery store. It was well stocked and furnished. We made great use of the beach chairs and coolers that were stocked in the unit. We really appreciated the air conditioning as it got very hot during the day. You can't really go wrong booking here- the location is central, you don't need to drive to go out for dinner, and the unit looks great. Thanks for a great stay:)"Guest: amanda W. "This is our second stay at this condo. We had such a wonderful experience the first time, we had to return. We researched Maui far and wide before booking this condo and we were more than happy with our decision. Kihei is the perfect laid back beach town - not as resort-ish as Kaanapali, not as fancy as Wailea (we're not fancy people!) and with more amenities than the Napili area. We were also thrilled with the location of the Kihei Kai Nani - close to shops, restaurants and across from the BEST beach. This condo is perfectly situated within the complex, far enough away from the street noise, close to the pool and very quiet. The lanai was private and facing a lovely green belt. It is only a 2 minute walk to the beach. The owners have made sure that the condo has everything you'd need while staying there - from free WiFi, to a coffee maker to beach chairs/umbrella, and lots of towels. We can't say enough about this condo. You simply cannot go wrong staying here and we're sure you'll feel the way we do, that this condo is a "home away from home" and we cannot wait to come back."Guest: Rob & Judy Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: November 6, 2014View listing
