"Enjoyed our week at this updated and well maintained property. The unit has a beautiful view of the pool and across to the beach. It is in easy walking distance to the grocery store, Starbucks, restaurants and a Farmers Market that is open Wednesdays and Saturdays. We enjoyed getting a cup of coffee each morning and taking it to the water's edge where we could watch the surfers, and one morning, fishermen. This is a park-like area with a walking/biking path that leads back to the condo. We enjoyed several restaurants both away and nearby - particularly Café Carmen in the Technical Research Center near the golf course. For a very special treat, be sure to eat at 5 Palms. If you choose to stay here you will not be disappointed."Guest: Carmen Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 5, 2014View listing
"My husband and I had a wonderful 1 week stay in this condo. The owners and local on-island agent were all very attentive and truly interested in making us feel welcome. There is no air conditioning in the unit but keeping the doors open allow for the trade winds to blow through nicely. The furnishings in the unit are beautiful yet comfortable, especially the bed! One feature we really appreciated was the keypad entry for the door. It was so great not to have to carry keys or a key card around. It has all the comforts you would expect from home and no need to worry about buying/bringing things like paper products, ziplock bags, cling wrap, spices, condiments etc. We especially appreciated using the beach chairs and different sizes of coolers for our adventures. There were 2 sets of snorkel gear there as well but we had brought our own. Tennis rackets and a set of golf clubs are also available for use. The owners invite you to use anything you find in their condo which we felt a little uneasy about at first, but really shows that they are extending their Aloha and want your stay to be relaxing and worry-free! The location in south Kihei is directly across from the beach Kamaole 2. The unit is in building C, quite close to the entrance of the resort (and the pool/BBQ area), so getting to the beach is easy and takes less than 5 minutes. Many shops and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. My husband and I both agree that this stay on Maui was our best vacation ever and feel that being in this condo had a lot to do with it. We would absolutely stay here again!"Guest: LaFawn M. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 18, 2014View listing
"My wife and I just got back from 10 days staying at this marvelous location. Everything was EXACTLY as described, -perfectly appointed kitchen and super-convenient to the Makena beaches we love. (Even a beach umbrella!) The only downside was the lack of A/C. During our stay the trade winds (normally quite reliable this time of year) failed. The Kona conditions (as Hurricane Ana approached) made for rather stifling nights the first week. However, the extra small fan in the bedroom saved the day (or more appropriately, "saved the nights") and we got through it just fine. We will ABSOLUTELY be back!"Guest: JLH Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 26, 2014View listing
"We recently stayed 10 nights in the condo, it was perfect for my family of 4. The kitchen was beautiful, stocked with everything one could possibly need. The lanai was a great place to eat our meals. We were happy to find snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach chairs, and tons of sand toys for the kids. South Kihei was the perfect spot for us. We had great restaurants to choose from - we ended up at Fred's for happy hour and sunset watching, quite a bit!! We were happy with the condo's location with its close proximity (less than a minute) to the Kamaole Beaches and the warm swimming pool. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation spot and are making plans to return next year. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. It was truly a memorable experience. See you again next year!"Guest: Charlotte Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: November 12, 2014View listing
