  • Great time; nice condo!

"We enjoyed our recent vacation to Maui. We were traveling with our two children, so I had been looking for a place that was kid-friendly. The condo is very comfortable and without breakable items, which made it relaxing for me; I didn't want to be worried that they would break or damage anything. The condo has a bit of wear and tear, but nothing terrible; I was perfectly comfortable staying there. The condo location could not have been better. Oceanfront. Ocean & beach views from master bedroom window and lanai. The sun came in at an angle in the late afternoon, but not for long and it was easy enough to briefly close the wooden blinds during that period. The beach is RIGHT THERE. It was great just to go down one floor, walk across some grass, and be on the beach. My kids were in heaven; they loved swimming and boogie boarding at the beach. The weekends got a bit crowded, but nothing compared to other beaches. The weekdays were great without crowds at all. We always had a perfect spot to sit and watch the kids play in the water. The pool was a fun spot for the kids, too. Overall, we had a great time. The only downside was that the trade winds stopped a few days, which made it really hot and humid. The unit doesn't have A/C, but it does have ceiling fans in every bedroom, kitchen, family room, and lanai. For the most part it was fine, but by the end of the trip, I was wishing for some cooler weather and less humidity."

  • Everything I could ever want

"You really have to see the views from this condo to believe them. The location is better than the pictures AND the description. We didn't even use our car to get to any of the shops or restaurants we visited. Charlie Young beach was wonderful and it's a stones throw away. We snorkeled at one of the beaches a few minutes to the south where we went swimming with turtles. The condo was equipped with everything we needed from internet access to a washer and dryer. There were even beach chairs and all of the small kitchen appliances and gadgets we could ever want when we decided to cook and eat in. But what I miss the most is watching the sunset from the lanai with drink in hand. It was a joy working with Debbie. She was genuinely interested in making sure we enjoyed our stay, had fun and took advantage of everything that Maui had to offer. When can I come back Debbie?"

  • Kihei Akahi Escape

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The vacation unit was acceptable for the great price. However, it could use some updating in the furnishings and improved soundproofing for the bedroom. The windows to the exterior common area allow too much sound through. Also, the single air conditioning unit is somewhat inadequate to cool the bedroom. The kitchen had all the necessary tools and the beach toys in the closet were a plus!"

  • Heaven on Earth!

"We are a family of four and needed a vacation--this condo was everything that it advertised and MORE! Believe the pictures on this site--it is that beautiful! This was our first visit to Hawaii and we could not have been more please with the condo. The owners have maintained a warm and welcoming place and had every comfort we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the pulled out couch was not too bad. Fred's Mexican restaurant directly across the street is yummy! Great fish tacos! Also across the street is Café O Lei had great food--make reservations or you'll be waiting a long time. Auntie Snorkel (yes, across the street) was wonderful to rent paddleboards (we are hooked) a must try! We also rented an underwater camera and we booked our helicopter ride through them. Paul was fantastic. If you are looking for a condo and want to have long walks on the beach and a really relaxing time--rent this condo. We are already looking at same time next year--but without the kids!"
