"Loved the condo complex! Great location, beautiful flowers, large pool and friendly people. Sunsets at the very close beach were spectacular. This unit is very nice with lots of remodel updates. Only complaint was the 1 hour timer on the a/c. We were there during a heat wave and although early morning and late evening were fine with open windows and fans, we really needed some a/c late afternoon. Enjoyed the large flat screen t v for keeping up with football games."

  • Loved It!!

"We had a lovely stay in this condo. It was fully equipped for our comfort. We enjoyed cooking on the grills that are on the grounds and then eating our dinner on the balcony while enjoying the spectacular view. It was nice being able to just walk across the street to beautiful Charlie Young Beach. We had decided to cut our trip short by two days bacause of the threat of Hurricane Ana. We were supposed to fly out the day the storm was going to hit Honolulu. A few days before the Maui Vista posted information and emergency procedures all through the complex. It was comforting to not have to try and figure out what to do if we decided to stay. We would come back here in a heartbeat."

  • Great Location!

"The property is newly renovated and very organized. Every drawer and cabinet is labeled. So no guessing where to put things away. Susan is so easy to work with and responds to email, text and phone calls right away. The location of the unit is nice because it is on the end of the building, on the ground floor, so you can unload/load luggage, groceries, and gear for the beach easily through the sliding glass door on the lanai. The only time we went out the front door, was to lock up if we were leaving for the day. Our children loved being able to run out and be right on the beach, rocks or pool which is steps away from this unit. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us. We prefered the South Beach because it was on the same end as the unit and it was a little more private because there are several condos along that beach. The north beach had more public access, which made it more crowded. The roof top garden is amazing! I didn't give it too much attention when chosing this property but we ended up using it several times. In the evenings before sunset is so nice. There is a breeze and beautiful views of the ocean and the mountains. There are several new model grills and a kitchen with a refrigerator and sink to help with meal prep. We were able to store drinks and other food that needed to stay cold while preparing dinner. There is plenty of tables and seating for everyone. The complex is very convenient and walking distance to several restaurants and stores. My children took a surf lesson at Cove beach. I was able to walk there in less then 15 minutes. The reason I didn't give this unit 5 stars is because it doesn't face the water. There is a view the the condo building next to you. Also, there is air conditioning but only in the living room. You have to run the unit very cold in the living room and pretty much keep it freezing in there, while running the ceiling fans at hurricane speed in all the other rooms to circulate cold air. Bedroom doors have to stay open to obtain the air. No privacy at all."
