  • Clean, Quiet, Central and Overall Great Location!

"It was our first time in Maui and Daniel's condo had everything we needed (beach equipment, towels, iron, washer/dryer etc). He was also very accessible via email and got back to us right away if we had a question or concern about anything condo or Maui related! Free WiFi helped us share pictures with family and friends back home and a phone for long distance calls/local calls was great for emergencies or making reservations. It was a very well-kept, clean, quiet - overall beautiful studio. The view of the mountains at sunrise were stunning! Even though it would be considered South Maui, it was central to most places. Anything you need is just down Kihei and you are just a few steps away from the beach. It has a very local atmosphere (nothing like being at a hotel, meaning you'll definitely feel like you live there), we were mistaken to be locals several times! The only downside to the condo was that the room was located near the doors to the staircase (condo on the second floor), therefore every time someone left our floor the door would slam closed and we could hear it every single time - but it's a VERY SMALL concern considering you'd most likely spend most of your time outside the condo!! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone going to Maui, especially first timers. We would for sure rent from Daniel again if and when we decide to go back to Maui! Mahalo Daniel!"

  • Kehei Condo

"Loved the location. Very close to the beach. You could easily sit on this beach everyday and walk to several stores and restaurants and meet all your needs with out ever driving a car. This condo is older and very basic. We went to Maui to be outdoors and to site see around the island so it was just right. We did not use the pool or tennis court but they looked well maintained. We shopped at Food Land for groceries and got really good Maui Lions coffee and good deli meat there. Rental shops are nearby for surf and paddle boards. We have nothing to compare our stay to because we have not rented on Maui but given the number of Condos and hotels that are available, there may be some that are nicer in the same price range. We would rent here again as the owner was so nice and location was awesome."

"Aloha, this was my first experience booking through VRBO and it was certainly a good one. The owner Margarita was very pleasant to deal with and promptly resolved the few small problems I had with her unit in Maui. The condo is tastefully decorated, has a comfortable bed and furniture, is easy to keep clean and very private. Improvements I would suggest .....a better patio set for the lanai or at the very least some chair cushions, definitely not comfortable or inviting! More cupboard space is needed for groceries , would suggest less beach toys and extra glasses to provide the space."

  • An encore experience!

"My wife and I rented from David over the Christmas and New Years holidays in 2010. Four years later, we reunited with family and friends at Maui Vista to once again celebrate the holidays in Hawaii. Our initial 2010 experience was wonderful! We had never booked accommodation this way and didn't know what to expect. Right from our initial contact, David made sure we were comfortable with the process. When we arrived, we were struck by the welcoming gift basket provided by our host and the opportunity to meet and get to know David. Our return visit was not a disappointment. In addition to the personal touches, David has renovated the condo. It was well appointed and tastefully decorated in 2010. During this visit, the renovation was icing on the cake! Our family and friends who rented other units at Maui Vista joined us in admiring the design and workmanship of our condo. Another nice touch is the guest log that David has placed in the condo. It was enjoyable to read and share others' experiences with Maui Vista 1304. We look forward to our next stay in David's condo and I highly recommend it to people looking for a place that has it all and is close to beaches, great restaurants and shopping. If you rent a car, the island is yours to explore knowing an inviting home with a comfortable bed is waiting at the end of your day!"
