"Very nice. For the price you can't go wrong. The condo was clean and comfortable. It was also free of bugs, which can be quite tricky on these islands. Even with it's small size we easily housed a family of four and still enough room to move around and manipulate living out of luggage. As others have stated, the washer and dryer are small, but unless you're washing quilts or clothes for an army they're more than sufficient. The office gives you a bag of the special low-suds soap during check in so you shouldn't need to buy any. There's also a small window unit air conditioner if needed. We used it one night, so I know it works pretty well. The location is really hard to beat. It's a 500 foot walk to Kamaole II and a 5-10 minute walk to beaches I & III. There's also a number of eateries in easy walking distance right around the corner. Most of the dining is in this area of South Kihei, North Kihei more heavily populated with hotels and resorts. For those that like to eat in, there's a really good Safeway about a 10 minute drive away. The extras Ryan and his wife provide were appreciated as they saved time (and a few bucks) rather than dealing with the short term rental places. We made good use of the buggy boards, beach chairs and snorkel masks. All in all, a super place to stay. The location, comfort, safety and value are superb."Guest: Steve Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 18, 2014View listing
"My wife and I just had a great trip to Maui specifically Kihei. This vacation would not have been the same without the great accomodations. We usually go to Kauai but thought we would try out Maui and without knowing much about it we just picked this spoe. Centrally located with an abundance of things to do within a stones throw. Complex is very well taken care of and same with the unit. Met lots of good people who reside in the complex and will be back 100%. Again great place and awesome location."Guest: Robbie d Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 18, 2014View listing
"I frequently use VRBO when I make travel plans. I too rely on reviews when making my choice(s). Renting the unit owned by Dave and Dixie was truly an outstanding experience. Having stayed at the Maui Banyan complex on at least five (5) prior occasions, I can tell you that their property is modern, well equipped and spotlessly clean. During this trip, I rented a second unit, not owned by Dave and Dixie, for my daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. That unit was nice, but did not have the "first class" feel that Dave and Dixie's unit had. Finally, the interaction with Dave was outstanding. He was responsive, attentive, and informative."Guest: Paul and Donna Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 28, 2014View listing
"Great complex, location, condo !!! Very friendly staff and courteous renters. This condo has all that you will need plus an awesome ocean view from sunrise to sunset. The location was superb, you can walk almost anywhere if there for a short stay and the bus system is great ($4 for the day). Definitely we will return to this complex ... Looking for a longer term stay of 3-5 months !!! Mahalo"Guest: Live to travel Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: May 2, 2014View listing
