"This condo was fantastic! Clean, and well kept and modern. The location is on the second floor with a great view of Cove Park, right next to a great beach...Charlie Young Beach! You can walk to all the amenities from surf board rentals to groceries to cool bars and restaurants. We loved waking up to a view of the ocean and watching surfers. We also saw whales! You can snorkel at Charlie Young beach or drive along the South coast and find great places to snorkel. The pool in the complex is great - 3ft in the shallow end and 8 feet in the deep end. Barbecues on site are perfect for cooking your own dinner. This condo is a great value!"Guest: Karen S. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 29, 2014View listing
"The condo was perfect. Everything is just like the pictures, only better in person. The condo has plenty of room for 4 people. Beds are comfortable & the kitchen has anything you need to cook with. Having breakfast & watching the sunset from the balcony was so relaxing. We started the day with a walk on the beach only steps away. You can see turtles playing in the water right in front of the property. Restaurants, a grocery store & gift shops are just across the street. Café Olei & the little taco place across the street are good. A great natural health food store I used was across the street also. I recommend this condo to anybody who wants a relaxing place to stay while in Maui. Thanks Gary & Robyn for a once in a lifetime vacation."Guest: Terri Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 24, 2014View listing
"I love Kihei abd found myself hunting for a new place to stay when a friend rented my previous condo. I discovered this unit and loved the look of it. Jamie was awesome to deal with pre-trip and answered lots of questions I had. I was super pleased when I arrived at the unit at 3:00 pm (a mere 15 hours from when I woke to start my day of travel) .. when I opened that door and walked it .. it was EXACTLY as pictured (I've rented some where the "good stuff" comes out for the pictures, but you never see it when you get there) and clean. The place is bright, comfortable, modern and quiet. After a brief early morning walk, with a final stop at Cafe a la Plage for a latte) I would spend the mornings on the lanai working on whatever amateur watercolor took my fancy that day. In the evenings, despite being within decent proximity to restaurants it is sooo quiet within the unit. There is a wrought iron door that can be locked and you can get a good cross breeze going (although the trade winds seemed to take a hike while I was there and I did have to run the A/C a couple of evenings). The owners have the place well stocked ... previous guests have left lots of sunscreen and shampoos in the bathroom. The roomy shower is very spa like - good water pressure and a decent shower head. In the kitchen there are tons of dishes and glasses (for both in the unit and plastic for by the pool). The pots/pans/fry pans etc are in really good condition and the knives can cut (can you tell I've had issues in the past??); lots of storage containers for leftovers and good corning products for using the microwave. Loved having the glass top stove - great coffee pot and tons of cutlery and utensils (pizza cutter, etc.) The pool is right across from the unit, so a simple walk (and quick at night when it turns a bit cooler). I didn't use them, but the owners have the unit well stocked with movies; there's a great cable system and the wifi works well! A nice to have when you travel solo. The bedroom is on the corner, so a nice cooling off at night with good fans to help. There are two nice sized dressers/nightstands. Definitely love this place and just as it is ... I would love to live here. Next I am back in Kihei, I will be contacting Jamie. I loved how close it was to my favourite restaurants and shopping. Mahalo Jamie and Linda for sharing you home!"Guest: Beth T. Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 15, 2014View listing
