"The condo was immaculate. The furnishings throughout the condo are top notch, comfortable, modern and convenient. We cooked in one night and everything we could think of needing was there. The only reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 was that it gets pretty warm towards the back of the condo. The air conditioning is located in the living room so it's a little tough to get cool air to the bed room. Thankfully my friend preferred a warmer room and I preferred a cooler room so she took the bedroom and I stayed on the pull down bed in the living room and we were all perfectly happy. The pull down bed is incredibly comfortable, btw. There are a lot of options around the condo. A short walk to a couple beaches and plenty of food options. It is definitely more convenient to have a car, but you wouldn't HAVE to have one. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Two thumbs up!"Guest: Nora H. "Our 3 week stay at Jim and Therese's condo was wonderful!! The condo itself was comfortable-it had everything we needed. And since we try to stay 3 weeks when coming to Maui, we really appreciated the low rates. Therese was more than helpful with info, arrangements, and even went beyond the call of duty when we needed a package delivered! We loved the quiet (except for the birds whose call resembles a car alarm :), and the proximity to Charley Young Beach can't be beat. You will be our first choice, Jim and Therese, when we return to Maui!!"Guest: Ruth M. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: October 26, 2014View listing
"This location is absolutely perfect-Highly recommend! I almost didn't want to post a review knowing it would become well known and would never have openings again in the future! It is close to the beach -so close you walk the entrance of the building and across the street to Kam II! It is also within walking distance to morning yoga on the beach (Maui yoga path), dining (my fave is Three's), shopping (kula herbs beach oil is divine) and surfing, snorkeling spots (big beach) are not far away! Don't worry about beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler -Daniel has it covered amongst several other things! I would recommend washing off your beach items thoroughly at the beach and or beach showers if need be -to make it easier on not tracking in sand and then drying them on the patio if need be. They even have recycling at the front office for paper, glass, aluminum, cardboard, and plastic! I would suggest packing a couple cloth recyclable bags to use at the markets as they don't use plastic bags. :) Don't overpack like I did this place is equipped with a washer and dryer! I would suggest to take a day and let your body get acclimated to the climate so you can enjoy the fresh invigorating Kihei breeze! This place has ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom, windows all along the front patio from top to bottom that all open, not to mention the front glass storm door that opens to the breezeway creating an abundance of fresh, cool air flow -rather than messing with the AC but it has one if need be. I was there in November with the temps in the 80's and luckily never had to turn it on!:) If you like the Hawaiian coffee (toasted coconut is so delicious) like I do he has a coffee maker and mugs to satisfy your morning cravings! I was only there for 7 days so never had time to watch the tv but he has a very nice mounted flat screen as well. In addition, the owner was extremely helpful, accommodating and easy to work with! His hospitality and place definitely made my vacationing there feel right at home!:) Mahalo!"Guest: Holly Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: November 14, 2014View listing
"Loved the location with beaches and restaurants a super short walking distance from condo. We rented a car and liked how we could drive in any direction without a lot of time used up in the car. It is a quiet area and we liked being on ground level. Only disappointment was the cleaning lady forgot to clean up after last visitors so we had to clean and wash sheets etc. when we got there. We were reimbursed the cleaning fee plus a little more, but still, not the way to start a first get-away trip to Hawaii. Be sure to ask about having the place clean before you arrive and this would then move into the excellent rating."Guest: Rhonda H. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 24, 2014View listing
