"We spent 10 days on our honeymoon in Jonathan's apartment! The place is very clean and decorated with taste, the backyard is perfectly taken care of with BBQ, lounge chairs, hot tob! We had everything we needed for snorkeling (even defogging agent) that we used almost everyday! It's centrally located for the morning sunrise on the Haleakaala, going to Lahaina or wailea or even Hana! We will certainly come back!!! And my husband Nick is still thinking about that delicious homemade banana bread you offered us!! Thanks Jon! "My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our week at this condo apartment in the well appointed and maintained Maui Vista complex. The description is accurate and the photos are only missing the beautiful Maui heat. The condos are conveniently located to shopping, city bus stops, surfing water and most importantly, one of the best beaches at Kihei. The condo is very clean and contains all of the appliances, communication devices and/or connections and beach things a couple requires for a good vacation. The bed is very comfortable and the area is very quiet at night allowing for rejuvenating sleeps. You can dine in the dining room or out on the spacious lanai. One of the complex's swimming pools is literally 10 steps from the lanai allowing for a quick and convenient dip in the pool. The Maui Vista complex is regularly visited by a very good tour and activity representative who can help you book tours and activities of all kinds. The government partners and weather forecasting services were faultless in helping us to prepare for hurricanes Iselle and Julio. Actually we were a bit apprehensive about the storms however, Maui was for the most part spared from adverse weather during our stay. The houses between the complex and the ocean would have been a significant storm buffer so while the condo is close to the beach it is sheltered from harm. The owners are wonderful caring hosts who know how to provide a restful and relaxing vacation spot. I would recommend this location to friends and family in a heartbeat. We were so pleased with this condo and Maui in general that we hope to return to this location soon. Thanks!"Guest: Happy Vacation Couple Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 16, 2014View listing
"This was our second time at Maui Vista but our first in Lily and Tuan's unit. It was true to the description. Clean, spacious, nicely decorated and pretty much all the comforts of home you need while away. Nice touches like the beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas, towels etc), binoculars for watching the whales from the balcony and stocked soap and amenities on hand to get you through the first day until you have time to go shopping. The location is excellent with or without a car. You can walk to anything you would need - beaches, shopping, restaurants - and also there is a large parking lot available if you rent a car for your stay. You don't have to worry about searching for parking like in some condo's. The only thing I would point out is there is not a lot of cupboard space to store food if you do a big grocery shop, so keep that in mind if you head to Costco! Kitchen was stocked with appliances - dishwasher, full size fridge, full oven, microwave and washer/dryer. I think they had A/C as well but I go to Hawaii for the heat so we didn't use it. Large ceiling fans in all the rooms move the awesome Hawaii air through the unit as if you were outside. Wonderful. All in all an excellent choice in the Kihei area. We will most definitely return for another visit to this unit!"Guest: Carolyn M. Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: December 2, 2014View listing
"Our family of seven adults had the most amazing time at this property. The owner was extremely helpful throughout the booking process and during our stay as well. We felt right at home with everything we could ever need supplied for us in the condo, including beach items which were so appreciated.. The location was perfect - so close to the beautiful beach, restaurants and easy access for all of our sightseeing trips. Highly recommended!"Guest: fasty7 Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: December 3, 2014View listing
