"Just back from 3 weeks in this condo, what a great spot! Located in the heart of Kihei allowed us to walk everywhere..grocery store, farmer's market, beaches, bus stop, and restaurants. Only rented a car to get to other parts of the island that were too time consuming or unreachable via the bus. Very pleased with the high-end kitchen cookware, utensils and appliances. Bed is super comfy but the tradewinds were so awesome, we fell asleep most nights on the couch while watching tv. Didn't need the AC at all. The view is great and allowed us to judge the surf right from our balcony every morning. If surf is up, you can head right downstairs and rent a board for the day. Having the washer/dryer unit right in the condo was also a huge plus! Wifi works very well, too. Kudos to the Resident Manager, Brian, who was always friendly and kept us well informed as to what was expected of us during the impending hurricanes! Also to Ligia for returning our security deposit so quickly! Overall, we were very pleased with this condo and hope to be returning guests. My only complaint is that the flat screen TV is so big, my husband now thinks our own flat screen is too small!! :-)"Guest: Franny P. "We had a Family group of 10 staying in three different units in the Maui Banyan. All three were two bedroom units but this unit (F206) was superior to the other two. It had the most up to date appliances, furnishings, tile (not carpet), comfortable beds and was well maintained. Being on the second floor was also an advantage as there were no critters. The two first floor units both had the potential with this but for us on the second floor it was not a concern. We were concerned about there being noise because of the proximity to the main Kihei road and the entrance to the Maui Banyan. However this was not an issue and with the doors closed and outside sounds are largely muted. The F complex is close to the beach. As was noted by someone previously….the owner was terrific in all our dealings - from quick responses to emails, booking our condo, phone call returns and answering questions. We would highly recommend this condo."Guest: Very Satisfied visitor Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 1, 2014View listing
"My husband and I recently spent a month in Neal and Joe's beautiful condo and highly recommend it both for the unit itself and even more importantly, for the thoughtfulness and consideration shown us by our hosts. We had to extend our stay due to hurricane Iselle and Neal went out of his way to enable us to stay safe and minimize the potential problems we may have had to face. Thanks!
