"We stayed at this unit for five nights in May 2014. This complex is in an excellent location directly across from the beach, and the unit is in a desirable location close to the pool/laundry room and still a short walk to the beach. The unit is very well appointed. The king size bed is very comfortable. Stayed here with a two year old and six month old. Our hostess Hope was very accommodating. She provided toys for our two year old. Cold water and treats in the refrigerator upon arrival was greatly appreciated. We asked last minute for travel crib for our six month old, and Hope was gracious to arrange for it. We have stayed at one other unit in this complex a few years ago, but this unit was more hospitable by far. We would stay here again and recommend it to our friends."Guest: Aloha Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: May 24, 2014View listing
"This was our first class budget week in paradise! Jeanne's condo felt very homey, perfectly stocked, with lots of comfortable furniture, and island decor. The hubby and I couldn't stop taking photo's of the 180 degree view from the lanai!... tradewinds, sunset, dinner. An affordable million dollar view? Kihei is not the 5 star experience in Wailea but filled with affordable condos and lots of locals who make it a MUCH more interesting experience. It offers the best beaches and shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Driving takes you anywhere on the Island. The most fun was 'Kai Kanani' early morning Molokini Express Snorkel boat leaving from Makenna Beach 10-15 minutes away. In our short week, we also did the Haleakala drive and some of the Road to Hana, checked out Lahaina, the Ocean Center & swam every late afternoon in Kam 2 across the street til sunset... Down season is VERY quiet and beaches were pretty empty. So we lucked out big time. My husband and I were so pleased we chose this condo. This was the kind of get-away we enjoy! Thanks Jeanne for keeping it affordable!"Guest: Susan B. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 21, 2014View listing
"My family of four (kids ages 12 and 6) stayed here for a week in November. I am always nervous to go to unfamiliar places and stay in unfamiliar housing. This time, my nervousness dissappeared completely when we checked out the condo and its surroundings. Everything worked for us! Location - Kihei, apparently, is the best for just relaxing and swimming (I heard that most other beaches are more "wavy" and more suitable for surfing), so here we were in Kihei and right across from the beach. I loved to have flexibility for the whole family to enjoy the beach: if my 12 year old wanted to go back to condo, she could! And I could stay by myself, and if family needed me I could immediately go back. That part was a huge positive for me. Condo - had everything we needed! We rarely eat out, so the kitchen was fully equipped with cooking essentials and dishes. I loved having a cooler and an ice pack, so we could take it with us when driving around exploring. There is full size coffee maker, gas range, oven, dish-washer. The little closet in the kitchen had all the cleaning supplies. Washer/dryer was a huge positive as well. As far as AC goes: my husband panicked when he saw no AC, however, it turned out that the climate was so pleasant, that fans were sufficient. There is a smart tv, so we could turn on Iheart radio and listen to pleasant music, if we did not want to watch tv. The owner responded with lightning speed to any communication, so I really appreciated it. When (not if) we go back to Maui, we will definitely try and book this condo again."Guest: travelerlj Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: November 17, 2014View listing
"We stayed a week at Robin's condo while we attended a wedding. We were the only wedding guests who chose to stay at Kihei Ali'i Kai and our stay at Robin's condo delivered all that was promised and then more. The location back from the road but with a view of the water means it doesn't feel as busy as other places. Bright and airy living area, more cooking and dining utensils than you'll ever use (!), much larger lanai than some places, A/C, 2 minute walk to beach, ... all came as advertised. You won't be disappointed."Guest: Jeff & Laurel Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 19, 2014View listing
